On the days I’m available, I can flex to a customer’s needs. It’s all about the animal more than it’s about me. Routines are important, so I would want to stick to yours. Also, if you’re gone longer than a weekend/days I’m available, feel free to reach out. I have an unusual work schedule, and if I’m a good fit for you & your pet, I am happy to be flexible beyond what’s “officially” listed as my availability. I’m also happy to get mail, water plants, and I always wash food/water bowls for the pets I visit.

I live in a condo very close to downtown. The neighborhood is very walkable. Because I traveled for work, sometimes at the last minute, I also accept last minute appointments - because those can be stressful enough! It’s nice knowing you can count on someone on short notice.

A typical day
My goal is to keep your absence as least-stressful as possible. I like to do a meet’n’greet to make sure it’s a good match. I like to know about favourite toys/activities, favourite or regular foods & eating habits (so I can spot abnormalities), and where they might be likely to hide so I can at least get a visual of them when I’m sitting. I love sending pictures of pets to their Humans as well as daily updates.

Pet care experience
I’ve dog & cat-sitted for friends, neighbors, and family somewhat frequently over my life. I also used to travel when I first adopted my own cats, so I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your animal. I prefer to stick to the animal’s routine as much as possible - I find it’s less stressful for them.

Lesley is one of the sweetest and kindest humans out there. On top of that, she ensures she is as knowledgeable about pet care as she can be, along with treating her own as best as possible and sometimes better than herself. She is tidy, on top of feeding schedule and socialization. I’ve had the pleasure of adopting two of her fosters and they are some of the best kitties I’ve ever had. I mean all my kitties are but from her, I know they are well loved, taken care of and looked over. I would trust her with my life but more importantly with the life of my girls.
