It's always great to know what your expectations are surrounding your pets and their care. Some like/must sleep in a crate. Some are allowed on the bed. Some cats are friendly and enjoy cuddling. Others not. The more information that is communicated, the better I can serve you and your pets.
A typical day
It really depends on what type of pet you have. I have taken care of Oliver, a 16 year old dog, whose idea of a long walk was actually around the block. But he loved being chased around the couch. Woody, a large German Shepard needed a great deal of exercise 4-5 times a day. I would take him hiking and on play dates with his buddies.

Hi, I'm Lesley and lucky enough to have the ability to travel to where you live to take care of your animals and your home. I'm ready, willing, and able to help out with what you need and want for your animals. I have over two decades of experience in caring for pets -- grew up with 2 yellow labs. When I went off to college, it was the first time I experienced having the whole bed to myself. No hogging doggies.!! Since my 20s, I've had cats. Lately, I have taken care of dogs mostly -- all sizes and shapes from small Jack Russells to large pit bulls. Some with special needs and special diets and some super healthy and wanting a zillion walks. I've even taken care of a bunny (named Valentino who did tricks). No doubt about it: pets are our children and please be assured if your pets are in my care they will be well taken care of and well loved. And your home and rules respected. A bit about me: I worked as an office manager for tech startups in the Bay Area but recently decided to have more of a work-life balance and decided to travel for the past two years and pet sit at the same time -- combining both my loves. Now i am settled in Wilmington and ready to take care of your babies!

Lesley was wonderful! Very communicative and detail oriented, making sure she kept a good routine for our dog Lucy. She also did so many helpful household tasks like bringing in our mail and packages (some large) and refilling our dog food container for us before we got home. Would absolutely book again!
Very friendly and responsive, Lesley took great care of my cat for a long weekend. She lives in my neighborhood which made scheduling easy.
Lesley is a lifesaver. My two Pomeranians don't like anyone, and I mean anyone. My neighbor was the only person they were warm to and whom I relied on for walking them when I was out of town. Then my neighbor moved so I looked into dog walking. What a nightmare that was, they didn't like any of the dog walkers (barking non stop) until I stumbled upon Lesley. They sniffed her at first waited for about 5 minutes and then they started wagging their tails and hanging out with her as though they've known her for years. She is a godsend and now I know my dogs get walked when I'm out of town. Your dogs will be in wonderful hands. Thank You Thank You Thank You.
Lesley has been around our dogs for close to 15 years. We have Jack Russell/Rat Terriers, who are not only very territorial with their owners and space, but incredibly intuitive when it comes to people. Since they were very young, Lesley connected with them perfectly. When she would visit, they would insist on sleeping with her! When it was time to go out, they would look around and wait for Lesley to come with us - as she was part of the "pack". So we then began allowing Lesley to walk the dogs on their own - which they were fine with. They remember Lesley fondly and immediately recognize her- jumping and giving love- due to her behaviors with them. I would highly recommend Lesley as a dog walker as she has the right temperament, approach and understanding to deal with our important family members. She is a animal person "through and through"...
