Dogs have always been a big part of my life. My pit bull, Tyson, was by my side for 14 wonderful years, and caring for him through every stage of his life taught me just how much our dogs become family. I also know how hard it is to leave them with someone else, which is why earning your trust is just as important to me as earning theirs. Over the years, I've gained experience through rescue work, boarding and grooming, and caring for the pets of friends, family, and clients. Those experiences have given me the opportunity to work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels. I'm comfortable caring for small lap dogs to large breeds, as well as senior dogs and those who need daily medications or a little extra encouragement while their families are away.

Lesley is amazing!! She goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of your fur babies. She takes the time to get to know their personalities and even worked on some training with our 2 dogs. She is a true dog lover and I would recommend her to anyone!
Lesley is truly one of a kind when it comes to dog care. She treated my dog like her own, and somehow she came back even better than when I dropped her off (which I didn’t even think was possible!). You can tell right away that Lesley has a genuine love for animals that goes beyond words. I had complete peace of mind the entire time, and I wouldn’t trust just anyone like that. Lesley has watched my dogs for years. She’s amazing and someone you can trust. She will treat your pet like her own and take the best care of them. There’s honestly no one on earth I trust more with my dog than Lesley, and that’s coming from a very anxious dog mom to a very neurotic and quirky pitbull. Safety is a top priority for her. I can actually relax and enjoy my time away knowing Arlo is in her care. She doesn’t just keep your dog safe and fed, she pays attention to who they are. She learns their quirks, their routines, what makes them feel comfortable, and goes out of her way to make sure they feel happy and at ease while you’re gone. You can trust that your dog’s exercise needs will be met. And if your dog has any behavioral quirks, she takes the time to understand what they need and reinforces good habits while you’re away. She is an animal person through and through and I've never met someone who loves and cares for animals as deeply as she does. I really can’t recommend her enough. If you’re someone who worries about leaving your dog with just anyone, Lesley is the person you want. You’ll come home to a well-exercised, well-cared-for dog.

I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I do my best to keep each pet's routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment
Trust is one of the most important parts of pet sitting, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'm naturally detail-oriented and make it a priority to follow your instructions closely, keep your pets safe, and provide dependable care. For added peace of mind, I also carry private coverage through Pet Care Insurance (PCI).
A typical day
Every pet has their own personality and routine, and I think that's one of the best parts of pet sitting. I enjoy getting to know what makes each pet comfortable, whether that's spending time outside, playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing nearby. My goal is to keep their day as close to their normal routine as possible.
