In between my hours of my downtime I am willing to stop in and give some TLC to your fur baby! I am currently employed full time and a full time, however I keep my schedule updated in the app to allow you to have better updates.

When I take care of doggy’s their safety is my first priority! I have a deep love for animals and treat them with tender care. If a pet needs to be crated for any particular reason such as health or reactivity I am careful with doing so. Being outside leashes are important to me as they allow me to maintain control and be a step ahead and where a pet may walk/run to. When it comes to their environment, my previous doggy loved tearing up toys so I made sure to keep good watch on him to make sure he was not digesting small pieces. Pets are curious about their environment and love to sniff! For this reason, keeping small objects off the floor and out of reach are habits I keep up to prevent any sicknesses or injuries.

A typical day
I love to play with their toys! If available, I also enjoy giving treats for commands. I believe it’s very important to keep a dog stimulated while their loved ones are away!

Pet care experience
Through my 8+ years of pet care experience I have taken care of many pets in my home including dogs, cats, and hamsters. I’ve had the chance to take care of puppies, kittens, up until they were senior doggies and cats. Throughout this time I gained knowledge in feeding, taking the dogs out to use the restroom, cleaning litter boxes, changing hamster bedding as well as cleaning the cage, getting their energy out during playtime, giving treats at proper times and even administering medication when they became sick. I have also watched my family and friend’s pets for them while they would be out of town. In these cases I had a meet and greet with the fur babies was left with detailed instructions to go by. While the owners were away I’d send pictures and updates on the status of their babies to ensure the owners also had peace away from home. If any issues arises I immediately contacted the owner so they were aligned with everything that was going on. Taking care of others pets like I would my own is extremely important to me, all around I love having the opportunity to learn more and more about differents pets personality & just being able to interact with them!

Leshalyn was absolutely amazing, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. Leaving Teegan and Ivy for three nights was a little nerve-wracking, but she made me feel completely at ease from the moment she arrived. Her communication was incredible. She sent multiple photos and videos every day, along with thoughtful updates that made it so easy to see how happy and well cared for they were. It was obvious that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with them and treated them like they were her own. Coming home to two happy, relaxed pets meant everything to me. I’m so grateful for the care and attention she gave them, and I would trust her with them again without hesitation. Thank you, Leshalyn, for taking such wonderful care of my babies. I hope you’ll be available the next time we travel!
Leshalyn did an excellent job house sitting for our 4 cats and a dog while we were away for 4 days. She was very responsive and sent us many detailed updates with photos and videos. We look forward to working with her again!
