Hello, my name is LēRae and I have one dog. Her name is Josie and she is husky shepherd. I grew up with dogs and have always had a furry roommate/coworker at every stage of my life. My family had rescued three pitbulls while I was growing up, so I am familiar with the process of taking in a dog and allowing them to become comfortable with you on their terms- especially in a home they are not familiar with. Since my own dog is a husky, I am most familiar with high-energy dogs. I work from home and we go on walks at least three times daily. Additionally, my building has a dog run. I use Rover both as a sitter and as a client so I understand the circumstances of ensuring your pup is in quality care. I do insist on meet & greets, as the potential client should always meet their sitters beforehand. As a client, I prefer pic/video updates at least three times a day and will ensure you receive the same standard.

Since I work from home, your pup will always have someone around. Unless there is an event or a quick errand run out— you will always be updated.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a one bedroom apartment with dog neighbors on both sides of me so noise is not an issue. My dog is a husky and can be verbal at times and will likely try to talk to your pup.

Lake Michigan is across the street so there are plenty of opportunities to go to the park, the dog beach park, or a stroll along the lake.
