Pet care experience
Lifelong love for pets!
I have been taking care of pets for family and friends since I was a teenager. I grew up with three different dogs (Isis, a shih-tzu; Atlas, a German Shepherd; and Gaia, a mut) and was the one in my family responsible for walking them. I have always had a good time with dogs especially, and I just love playing with them and having a good time. As my dogs grew older, I also learned to take care of them and be attentive to any special needs they have, such as applying medicine to their eyes, creating creative ways for them to eat and tucking them in. Since I joined Rover, I have taken care of several dogs and cats, as seen in the photo gallery. Apart from making new pet friends, I also like getting to know their tutors and becoming friends with them as well! I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German. Happy to communicate in any of those languages!

Leo is fantastic with both dogs and cats. He made sure they felt comfortable right away, and it was clear they formed a really nice bond with him. Communication was easy and clear throughout, and he followed all instructions perfectly. I can’t recommend him enough!

Schedule
I am currently pursuing a PhD degree at the University of Bern. I do most of my research on my laptop, so that gives me a great degree of geographical and time freedom, which means I have more time to be with pets!

I will be more than happy to take care of your pets at your place or at my own. I have a little garden that can be used for any necessity your pet has!
A typical day
First I believe it is always important to ask the tutor what needs their pet has. From that, I can plan activities with the pet. We can walk as many times as needed, I can feed them and provide any medicine necessary.
