Offering a lifetime of experience with small and large dogs, cats, and birds. I have cared for pets at every stage of life - puppies and kittens; to our senior companions needing additional care and attention. I provide thoughtful and specialized care, including: - Seniors: often requiring additional medication and routines, mobility assistance, and many times extra patience and comfort - Puppies and kittens: I have experience with crate training, potty routines, and positive interactions and socialization. It is important to support regular routines for these energetic little ones! - Personalized attention: tailored to each pet's unique needs and personalities - A calm and nurturing presence: helps animals feel secure, relaxed, and loved while you are away I currently have two pugs that are the loves of our life! I also grew up with Labradors, Labradoodles, and German Shepherds, and also loved our 5 pound Chihuahua. I also had a Quaker Parrot since he was only 8 weeks old, and loved his companionship for 25 years! His favorite saying, "What's Going On?!" Whether your pet needs an active walk, playful engagement, or quiet companionship, I care for every animal as if they were my own - because they deserve to feel comfortable at all times and deserve nothing less.

I treat my clients’ homes with care and respect, and I follow all instructions carefully—from feeding and medication schedules to preferred walking routes, toys, and daily habits. I also provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so owners feel informed and confident their pets are well cared for. Above all, I treat every pet like family, offering patience, compassion, and genuine attention to their individual needs and well-being.

Leona is absolutely amazing! She took incredible care of Patty when we were away and reassured us every morning and night with lots of pictures and detailed recaps! She’s a dog lover through and through and truly wanted Patty to have a great time while we were gone! Absolutely recommend Leona for any and all pet care needs!
Leona was great
This was the first time using Rover. Leona did a great job with our dogs and our home. It made us enjoy our time away and we won’t hesitate to use her again. She took care of our dogs like they were hers.
Leona truly did an amazing job. She’s very responsive, very timely and keep us well updated. She went above and beyond cleaning up. Would highly recommend her and would definitely ask her again to watch our furry fellas!

Whether I’m caring for one pet or several, I ensure each receives consistent routines, individual attention, and genuine affection. I place a strong emphasis on familiarity and comfort to help reduce stress while owners are away. From administering medications and maintaining feeding schedules to simply spending quiet time together, caring for pets isn’t just something I fit into my day—it’s something I truly enjoy and take pride in.
