I'm trained in nervous system regulation and offer a calm, grounded presence that animals naturally respond to. I practice Reiki and understand how to support your dog/cat's wellbeing through gentle energy work, co-regulation, and attuned care. My 8-year-old is also an animal lover, so your pet will have a gentle companion for play and cuddles. Whether your furry friend needs quiet rest or joyful connection, I meet them where they are with patience and presence.

Our dog’s comfort and safety were Joy’s primary concern. We got a picture of him being snuggled and spoiled while we were away. We are so happy to have found a family to take care of our big pup when we travel.
Joy (LeNita) took great care of my small, elderly dog. She was careful to ask lots of questions beforehand, and I felt confident leaving my little guy with her knowing she had an understanding of the little things that help with his care. He returned to me happy and not stressed at all. I will hire her again.
Joy responded quickly to all my questions and comments. My large older dog loved Joy and her daughter and had a wonderful visit. We will definitely be returning!

I run a virtual business from home, which means I have complete control over my schedule and can fully accommodate your pet's needs. I work primarily from my home office, so I'm present throughout the day for walks, play, meals, and cuddles. This flexibility allows me to provide attentive, consistent care without rushing off to another job. Whether your pet needs multiple potty breaks, prefers company during the day, or thrives on a specific routine, I can adapt my schedule to match what works best for them. Having this freedom means your furry family member gets my full presence and attention.

Your furbaby will be welcomed into a calm, nurturing environment with plenty of space to feel comfortable and safe. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play and potty breaks, and quiet indoor spaces where they can rest and relax. If your dog is crate-trained and you'd like them to have that familiar space, you're welcome to bring their crate and I'll make sure it's set up as their cozy den. I keep a predictable routine with regular feeding times, walks, play sessions, and rest periods. Your pet will have access to fresh water at all times, and I'm attentive to their body language and needs throughout the day. My 8-year-old and I treat animal guests with gentle respect, giving them space when needed and affection when they're ready for it. I'm also happy to follow any special instructions for medications, dietary needs, or routines that help your pet feel most at ease. My goal is to make your pet feel like they're visiting a trusted friend, not just being "boarded."
A typical day
Our days are pretty chill and follow your furbaby's rhythm. I love getting outside with dogs whether that's a neighborhood stroll or, with your okay, heading to a nearby trail. My 8-year-old daughter is obsessed with playing with dogs, fetch, tug-of-war, chase games, you name it. She's the main source of active play energy in our house! I supervise to make sure everyone's having fun and it's not getting too wild. I adapt to what your furbaby's needs are and flow from there.
