**From 6/23/26-8/1/26 I am only able to board cats due to a gig with long workdays.** As a kid, I was knocked down by a big dog, and thought I was a cat person for good... But after a year working in professional pet care in my 20s, I realized that I just want dogs ALL the time. Seriously, I loved that job so much that I almost left my theatre career to do professional pet care full time. I've been dog and cat sitting on and off since then (I'm 37 now), and since I moved into my new apartment alone, I would really love some animal companionship. Happy to give a 10% discount for stays longer than 14 nights.

There aren't enough words to describe how AMAZING Lena is. Lena communication is on point; asking all the right questions prior and during. Providing videos and pictures without even asking. I was updated every step of the way. My baby is geriatric at 14 years young. The care that was taken to make sure he was fed, walked, loved - Impeccable. Huge thanks to Lena for being an awesome person. Will definitely request services again if willing to have my furbaby back.
10 out of 10, highly recommend. Lena was amazing with my dog, Mumba. She went above and beyond in my opinion. She was very communicative, kept me updated, and sent photos, which made me feel comfortable the entire time I was away. She’s super detail-oriented and always asked questions and got permission before doing anything, which I really appreciated. She’s also very sweet and clearly cares about the dogs she watches. I especially appreciated that she adjusted his food when his stomach was a little off—giving him things like rice and sweet potatoes. That level of care meant a lot to me. I also loved that she worked with him on training while he was there. Mumba was well taken care of, and I could tell he was in good hands. Would definitely book with her again.
Our kitty had a great weekend at Lena's, bonded instantly with her, and had lots of fun experiences to tell us about. She came home very relaxed and mellow. We recommend!
Lena did an amazing job boarding our cat! She sent so many lovely update photos, was very flexible when we had to get a forgotten item to her, and was attentive/informative about how our cat was eating. We absolutely recommend her for pet care and hope to use her again in the future!
Lena is a true cat lover. She was so attentive towards my kitty, not to mention communicative with me! My cat was sad to say goodbye to Lena. We’ll definitely come back soon!
Lena is a thoughtful and responsible person who greatly loves and cares about animals. She has previously been a cat owner and has taken care of other animals. She will always put you and your furry friends first. I would absolutely trust her to watch any of my pets, and you should trust her too!

Schedule
I'm a freelance broadway musician who is often working from home, so would love to have your furry friend hang out with me at my house while I work. I do sometimes leave for contracts or have really busy weeks so am not available all the time*, but am generally flexible with my schedule and ALWAYS make time for the pets I'm taking care of. *Sometimes I have availability for cats but not dogs (as of now there is no way to specify on Rover between the two on the calendar. Please reach out no matter what!)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious (650 square foot) 1 bedroom apartment that is dog and cat friendly (lots of pets in the building.) I'm on the first floor, and I have no surrounding neighbors which makes it a quiet and calm place to pet sit. My neighborhood is very safe and has several parks around, perfect for walking! If I'm at your place, I am a clean and reliable guest.
A typical day
I love to walk and would love to have a companion with me. go to the park, or just hang out outside/ in the house.
