I love all animals, and have been pet and house-sitting for more than 14 years. I am extremely communicative, clean, and most importantly, truly enjoying spending time with your pet. The largest amount of animals I have taken care of at one time is over 20, but this did include some chickens and birds :). I have experience with chickens, cats, dogs, bunnies, parakeets, guinea pigs etc. I also have many years of experience house sitting. I am a grad student, so my schedule varies day to day. Please reach out to see if we are a good fit! I love taking long walks during the day, whenever possible. The outdoors is my true passion, and walking and running are my favorite activities, especially if I've got an animal buddy with me! I am responsible and committed, and very used to giving animals what they need. I would absolutely love to meet your pets!

I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and have experience administering medicine. I am also quite experienced caring for dogs with anxiety or dogs that may dislike people.

Lena was delightful. She was very responsive before sitting our dog, Rosie, and we couldn't even tell she had been there when we got back. We appreciated getting updates on Rosie while we were away and best of all, she was relaxed and happy when we returned. We highly recommend Lena. You won't be disappointed!
Lena is a very nice woman who clearly loves dogs. She is great with Dobby. Dobby clearly loves her. He stayed on her lap most of the time. And she makes sure to take him out for a walk. I would high recommend her.
Lena was perfection! She dog and house sat for us when we were away for 11 days. When we returned home our dog was naturally overjoyed to see us but, after the usual running around and thorough face lickings, he quickly settled down again to his normal content self. This told us that during his "staycation" with Lena, he felt comfortable and cared for, and that his normal routines--eating, taking walks, playing, sleeping-- had continued during our time away. We'd asked Lena not to overdo the playing with our fun-loving ball-centric guy because he had an injured leg that had been causing him to limp when he ran. Holding back is not easy to do because our pup is VERY persuasive when it comes to wanting to play fetch. Even so, when we got home, we were very pleased to see Brindle wasn't limping at all. When we returned, our house was in virtually the same condition it was when we left! Everything was where I'd left it, the floors were clean and swept, the kitchen and bathrooms neat and clean too. Lena even washed and dried the sheets and towels she'd used and left them for us in the drier! We did not have much need to ask about Brindle while we were away because all went well. When we texted Lena, she answered immediately. Will we ask her to housesit again? We sure will, and you should think about it too!
Lena was great. We were a little nervous having someone new stay with our 12 year old dog who can get anxious when we leave. She took pictures and checked in everyday. We came back to a well adjusted dog who was happy to see us. I would definitely recommend her and plan to use her for pet sitting again.
Lena was professional, timely, and so helpful! She watched our senior pup, administered meds, and stayed overnight. She was communicative throughout her stay and I’ll absolutely use Lena again in the future!

Schedule
I am a full time grad student, so my schedule varies daily and based on school calendars. Please reach out to see if we are a match! I take walks daily, which are always better with dogs!
