I have 7 years of professional experience in pet care, working in various local kennels, through Rover, and independently. After years of witnessing the effect of high-stress kennel environments on pets while away from their families, I was inspired to start offering in-home services. My approach is always patient, gentle, and curious about what our animals are trying to communicate. I work with dogs and cats, as well as horses and other farm animals. I’ve cared for up to 30 dogs at a time on my own in kennels, which included administering medications, supervising playtime, breaking up scuffles, basic grooming, walking dogs, and encouraging good behavior like leash manners, reducing jumping, and managing resource guarding. Lena was great. Tried her out for the first time ahead of a big trip and she exceeded all expectations and have no hesitations of her house sitting our pups while we are out of town.
Bruin was immediately calm and at ease upon meeting Lena for the first time. They had a good walk and he seemed to respond to her really well. Would recommend Lena!
She was so great with our dogs, communication was easy with her sent us up dates through the weekend! We will definitely be using her again :)
Lena was fantastic! We were nervous about our dog staying at her place because they had never met before, but as soon as we got there, he felt right at home. He could have cared less when we left him. She sent us pics all weekend and he looked so happy. It is obvious that Lena is a natural with animals and has the calm and soothing energy that they flock to. Thank you so much Lena!!!
One of our dog seriously hurt her leg two days before we were leaving for a week long vacation. Lena stepped in without hesitation to help with meds and provide extra care per our vet's instructions. She made a stressful situation much easier to handle—both for us and our hurt dog! She also took awesome pics!
Lena was extremely welcoming and very accommodating!

Schedule
I work remotely, so I won’t be gone for long hours during the day. I love to hike so I’d be happy to take your pup on an adventure!

I’m happy to take your dog on many walks! Pups are also allowed on the bed and couch for snuggles (if you allow this at home).

- I have no breed preferences and have plenty of experience with all types of personalities, from shy or anxious to bouncing off the walls. Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements or needs, medications, allergies, specific fears, sensitive areas they don’t like to be touched, favorite activities, etc. No amount of information is too much! I would love to hear anything and everything in order to insure your pup is both happy and safe.
