I currently work from home so I am accessible to your pet throughout the day to attend to their needs. I know how important it is for your pet to have someone there during the day then to have them be left alone while at work. For boarding, I can accommodate drop offs and pick ups from 6am - 8pm. Pick ups after 8pm will need to be picked up the next morning. While there are exceptions I do like to try and keep to these times. Thank you so much for trusting me with your pups, it is such a pleasure for me!!!!

Since I work from home, I am flexible around my work schedule and open to what ever times or days that you need. I want to be as accessible as possible for you as I understand how important it is that your babies are well taken care of while you're away. If your pup has diarrhea or has had diarrhea within the last week, I am not able to take them. The health of my dogs are my number one priority and I cannot put my healthy dogs at risk to come down with any kind of parasite or viral or bacterial infection that would cause diarrhea. Since most of the time we don’t know what causes the diarrhea. I cannot put my other dogs at risk. So sorry.

Are they social with other animals? Has your dog(s) been crate trained? Your dog(s) must be crate trained as I use them at night. Also, they need to be comfortable in their crate. Since I live in a townhome, I need to be considerate of my neighbors so your pup has to feel comfortable and content being in the crate. *I do make some exceptions. Are they house trained? Do they take any medication? Does your pup show any signs of aggression? If so, how does that manifest in their behavior? Do they have any type of anxiety or separation anxiety? If so, what behaviors do they exhibit from the anxiety? Are they up to date on all their required shots? I do require a copy of your pups vaccinations for boarding only, since they will be contact with other dogs. *Please note: There are often, but not always, multiple dogs here at the house and I do not let any dogs upstairs, they are allowed on the first floor and the back yard. I also am happy to take care of older dogs that need medication but I do not care for special needs.

It is important to get my 10,000 steps in a day so I love to take them along. I walk right in my neighborhood, as I would never take your pup away from my home without your knowledge or consent, other than for our walks. I love playing with them so make sure you bring their favorite toys!!

I have had, loved and taken care of dogs for over 30 years. Over the years I have raised 4 dogs; 2 keeshounds and 2 lab mixes. For each set of dogs I raised from puppies and trained them from the beginning to settle in their beds, sit, stay, walk on a leash and ring a bell that hung from the door if they needed to go outside, which worked beautifully. My black lab was on medication for the last month of his life and my lab mix needed steroids every spring because she had horrible allergies. I lost my last dog a few years ago and thought this would be a great way to share my love for dogs and puppies! I have always considered my pets my kids and loved them like family. I live in a very nice townhouse with a fenced in back yard. I also have a two car garage that I have converted into a playroom for the pups. They love being able to run around and play in a such a big space like the garage! My community also has a dog park that I love to bring them to BUT ONLY if there are no dogs there, which is why if I bring them it is in the early morning (6am +-) this way they can run around and play with no problems. I have two cats, who sometimes love and play with the pups that visit but if they don't feel like interacting they mostly will stay upstairs which is gated off from the dogs. So if your dog doesn't get along with cats that is okay I can easily separate them.

We can’t say enough great things about Lena! She house sits for us regularly. Our 2 dogs are always happy and healthy when we return!
