I work full-time at the 9am-5pm, and I am on call for my Animal Control Officer job 24/7. Despite these full-time job responsibilities, I have always been able to handle my pet sitting schedules. For drop-ins for dogs I will do morning, dinner and late evening visits to the owner’s homes. I generally take care of cats and other small pets twice a day in the morning and at dinner time. I always keep dogs leashed on walks for safety and handling control in public. I will utilize a fenced yard for dogs to play/exercise if one is available at the dog’s home. If there is an invisible fence, I always stay outdoors and monitor the dog while they are enjoying their time.I prefer to keep all cats indoors during my pet sitting jobs for safety and monitoring.

I enjoy interacting and providing play time for the active dogs and cats I take care of. I’m also totally fine with just sitting on a couch to hang out and watch a show or read with a shy or less active pet. I understand animal behaviors and always do my best to make a pet comfortable during my visits. I can also provide care for pets with special needs.

HAPPY PAWS PET SITTING SERVICES, LLC “Compassionate and Reliable Care for Your Furry Family Members.” Lena Bombard There is a high demand for pet sitters in the Tri-Lakes area, and I love animals and enjoy providing care for pets through drop-in visits and house sitting for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I do offer dog walking services occasionally for only 1-2 pets at a time. I have over 30 years of pet care experience and work full-time at the local Humane Society where I’m the current Shelter Manager/ACO and have been employed there for 24 years. I have provided care for large farm animals (mainly horses and goats), as well as a variety of small creatures like turtles, fish, birds, geckos, sugar gliders, a bearded dragon, and even cared for a tarantula (just don’t ask me to pet one). I’m really not a fan of snakes, but I know they’re interesting and will feed one if asked to. I have experience giving prescription medications, including insulin injections for diabetic pets and specialized care for senior and special needs pets. I want the best for all animals, and I am committed to keeping pets happy in their homes when parents are away or need assistance providing walks for their dogs.
