I used Lemara back in May 2022. I wanted to leave a review back then but didn't want to hinder someone's bag but after recently reading the other reviews for her, I realized my experience wasn't an isolated incident. I let my doggie stay with her for 8hrs while I was at work. The family seemed nice and the neighborhood looked pleasant. First thing I noticed about the house, their fence wasn't fully enclosed. When I came back for my girl, it took about 30mins for them to find her. Apparently, she was hiding under their bed. This is unusual behavior as my girl gets easily attached to people. After getting her out to me, all I smelled was residue of cigarette smoke all over her. I suspected also that she wasn't walked or fed while she was there and I was right. Immediately after coming outside, my poor baby did #1 & 2 within 5mins. I felt so bad for keeping her there. I'll never use Lemara again! I'm still upset thinking about it.

Pros: The family was very sweet and nice. They accommodated me when my arrival was late. My dogs do seem to be okay. They were fed and provided water. Cons: There was only one picture provided specifically when requested. The house is not clean at all. After leaving my dogs there one day their supplies smelled very bad. Almost like cigarettes and air freshener. Stuff is all over the floor. They get the job done. Again they were very nice. I really hope one day they’ll have a little cleaning service come help out. I totally understand after some point of cleaning neglect house cleaning can be overwhelming.

Lemara seemed to take good care of my dog while I was away and was responsive but there were a couple of red flags when I picked her up. Lemara was about 20-30 minutes late when we scheduled to pick her up. She also lost my dog's toys and harness. In addition, when I picked up my dog she was super hot and very dehydrated so I'm not sure if she was given water or was left in a hot room. It was a hot day but still makes me think she wasn't taken the best care of.

Good communication, checked in daily & pup seems to have had a good time. He actually seems a bit more trained (potty schedule wise), which leads me to believe that he was taken on walks consistently. If I had to find something then it’s just that I would’ve liked to see the environment he was staying in. Otherwise, 5 stars & I will confidently rebook when needed. Thank you!

I had my 4 month old German Shepard stay with Lemara while I was away for work and getting paperwork done for him, and overall, I am grateful for the work of Lemara, some days I would text her asking how he was, a few days, she would text me letting me know he was okay. I guess my really only concern was how I got all his belongings back and how he was after I picked him up. My pup is crate trained at night, but still being a puppy, he needs normal potty breaks. Here at home, he never has had accidents in it, when I picked him up along with his crate, there was dried up feces on it, as well as his bed and toys, had multiple potty stains on it and his blankets has potty on it too. Just makes me a little sad that he had to lay down on dirty belongings. The smell of his bed and the amount of pee stains that were on it, I just had to throw the whole thing away. He was also very constipated when I got him back. I just hope he wasn't fed anything other than kibble as he is not old enough for human food yet. After a day or two of drinking/eating at home, he went normally. Just raises eyebrows a little.

Once again Lemara proved why she is my go to sitter! I had to leave town short notice to visit my sick father and she quickly accepted my request. While I was visiting family I had to extend the request several times due to my father’s waning condition and Lemara accepted every one of them. She is a great dog-sitter and continues to amaze me with her patience and professionalism!
