Pet care experience
Your pet’s new best friend :)
I have taken care of dogs ever since I was seven years old. Most of my family had dogs while I grew up, our neighborhood had lots of dogs, and most of my friends have dogs. Growing up I had a German Shepherd and Lab and tortoise cat. My sweet girl that is now in heaven was a cane corso, so I have lots of experience with big dogs as well as small dogs, which is what most of my friends have! I have traded pet services with many people and also cared for my own pets. I currently do not have a dog as mine sadly just left me - but am more than happy to fill that void with anyone and everyone’s pets!

Ratings and reviews
Leila took great care of Björn! She is a very sweet and responsible. Björn had the best time! I would absolutely book her again!

Leila was fantastic with Bean! This is Bean's second visit with her, and it was readily apparent they enjoyed having time together. Leila is loving, caring, understanding of the breed and provided Bean with different activities to keep her moving. Thank you, Leila, for taking such good care of Bean.

Leila is the BEST. She was so reliable, caring toward my 2 dogs, took them on multiple walks, and generally spoiled them. And she is just a JOY to talk to. I can't recommend her enough and if/when I find myself in La Jolla with a dog again I am making a beeline for her services. 5 stars.

Leila was a great sitter for our dog! She was communicative, punctual, and was able to watch him last minute. We would definitely use her again!

Great experience

Leila is an awesome and loving caregiver. She used to have a pup of her own and really misses her so truly enjoys taking care of pets. I have known her for over five years, and she has always been super responsible and caring and loving with my dog! Five stars for Leila!

Schedule
I am forever grateful for what our furry friends have taught us because I have a very active routine now that includes several walks throughout my day. I spend a lot of time working from home and venture down to the beach 1 to 2 times per day as it’s very close and a great playground. Having a pet with me it’s just an added bonus and lovely company.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Warning- dogs will be very pampered in my house (unless specified, that they need particular discipline). I love to cuddle with them so they are allowed on my bed and on the couch. I have plenty of toys left in my house, and it is comfortable and spacious for all types of pets. We treat dogs as we do people here in this household, with lots of love, respect, and necessities.
A typical day
I wake up roughly at 6:30 every morning and go for a morning coffee walk. Then I make breakfast and start to work. Around 11 I take a break from work and either go hang at the beach or nearby park with pups or I’ll take them for another walk. I work some more till about 3 pm. Rest of the day is free to play! Sunset walks are a must for me, maybe a stop to the dog park, then dinner & cuddles on the couch! I work from home so I am available for constant walks throughout the day as well as beach or park playtime.
