Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets at my clients’ homes, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I work from home, which allows me to be present and fully attentive to their needs throughout the day. I’m very observant and always ensure that pets are safe and secure. I make sure doors and gates are properly closed, and I’m careful to check that there is no food left out, trash, or anything else they could potentially get into that isn’t a toy. If your pet is used to a crate, I’m happy to use it as part of their routine to ensure they feel secure and comfortable when you’re away. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet like my own and am committed to providing a safe, clean, and enriching environment for them.

A typical day

A typical day with the pets I care for is filled with fun, adventure, and lots of tail wags (or purrs)! The day usually starts with a morning walk or playtime, where we stretch our legs and get some fresh air. For dogs, this might mean a trip to the park, playing fetch, or running around in the backyard - whatever gets their energy out and puts a smile on their face! Cats, of course, have their own agenda, but they’ll happily enjoy some playtime with their favorite toys or chill in a sunbeam while I check in on their well-being. After the morning adventures, it’s time for some rest and relaxation. I make sure everyone has a comfy spot to nap, whether it's on the couch, in their favorite bed, or curled up with me for some cuddle time. In the afternoon, we get back into action with more play or some brain games! Dogs love chasing after balls, tugging on ropes, or doing obedience training (a little mental stimulation never hurt). Cats, on the other hand, might enjoy a good round of interactive play with feathers or laser pointers, or even climbing their cat trees for some solo adventure time. Throughout the day, I’m always keeping an eye on them such as making sure they’re safe, hydrated, and happy. If they enjoy a special treat or a belly rub, I’m all in. We wrap up the day with another walk for the dogs, more playtime, and plenty of snuggles. Everyone gets a cozy spot for their evening nap or bedtime routine (and trust me, we make sure all the doors and gates are securely closed). Whether it’s outdoor play, indoor enrichment, or simply curling up together for some quiet time, each day is tailored to your pet’s personality and preferences, ensuring they’re safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away!

Pet care experience

Hey there! I’m Leila, AKA your pet's new bestie (or as I like to say, “The Auntie They Deserve”). I’ve been knee-deep in pet chaos since I was 4 years old—dogs, cats, fish, you name it. My two dogs and two cats live with my family, but I like to think of myself as their fun, slightly over-the-top aunt who spoils them rotten (but don’t worry, I promise to respect your pet parenting rules!). Whether you’ve got a couch potato or a four-legged marathoner, I’m here to give your pets the time of their lives. I’ve been caring for all kinds of furballs for years, so you can rest assured I’ll treat your babies like they’re my own (cue the belly rubs and the personalized playtime). And hey, I love snapping cute pics of your pets—so expect your phone to blow up with ridiculously adorable photos that’ll make you think I’m secretly running a pet influencer account. I’m that person who loves dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. From the tiniest kitten to the biggest burliest dog (yes, I’ll even wrestle a Rottweiler into a snuggle), I’m ready for it all. I’m great at reading their moods—whether they’re in the mood for a walk, a cuddle, or just a moment of pure “I’m too cute for you to resist” eye contact. Oh, and I work from home, so I’ll be around for plenty of playdates, walks, and impromptu “treat bribery” sessions throughout the day. I’m always down for a 2-3 hour walk (yep, my Golden Retriever/Husky mix, Bowie, and my Siberian Husky, Malibu, keep me busy!) and have endless energy to keep up with your pups. A little about my pack: Bowie has the most dramatic eyes (one brown, one blue, because he’s clearly a supermodel), and Malibu is a beach-loving queen who thinks every puddle is a potential vacation spot. If you want them to give your dog some Husky-approved playtime, we’ve got plenty of room for adventures! Walks & Drop-ins – 7 Days a Week, All Day Long! Need a mid-day stroll or a play session for your pup? We’re available for walks and drop-ins any day of the week. I’ll pop by for a walk, a game of fetch, and some quality one-on-one time with your pet. Drop-ins can be 30 or 60 minutes long—perfect for a snack, potty break, or just a little company while you're out. House Sitting & Drop-In Services: Drop-ins: 30–60 minute visits where I’ll walk, feed, and play with your pup or kitty. Perfect for those days when you need someone to check in while you’re away! House Sitting: I’ll spend the night with your pet, providing a 15-20 minute evening walk, a morning potty break, and an afternoon walk or potty break. (More walks? Just ask, and I’ll add them to the service). If you prefer me not to stay the night, or if accommodations aren’t available, let me know. House sitting doesn’t include 24/7 care, but I’ll always ensure your pet gets plenty of love and attention. Boarding – 7 Days a Week Going away? Let your pet stay with us! I can accommodate up to 5 dogs for boarding, and they’re treated like absolute VIPs (Very Important Paws). Whether your pet prefers lounging in the bed with me, chilling on the couch, or hanging out in the kitchen, they’ll be right at home in our spacious, storybook cottage with secure, fully fenced yards for outdoor fun. No pet is left behind here—they get all the love and playtime they need. Doggie Daycare – 7 Days a Week, 8 AM–8 PM Drop off your dog for a day of fun and games! Daycare is available every day from 8 AM to 8 PM, with early drop-off or late pick-up available for an additional $30 “early bird” or “late owl” fee. Need a ride? We also offer pet chauffeur services for $20 per round trip! What You Get for Daycare & Boarding: 🛋️ Cozy home environment, including access to the couch (if that’s your pup’s thing) 🚰 Fresh, filtered water from a fountain—because hydration is key 🏃 Outdoor walks and playtime in the yard (we keep it moving!) 🧩 Mental stimulation with toys, puzzles, and peanut butter-stuffed Kongs 🍪 Healthy treats & chews for extra happiness 🛏️ Beds, blankets, and toys to make them feel right at home 🦴 Lick mats for those moments when they need to focus on their inner Zen What to Bring: 🥘 Enough food for the duration of their stay 🍖 Any preferred treats or snacks (we respect picky eaters) 🧳 For recurring daycare guests, bring a bag to store their personal items in their designated cubby Welcome to Paws Paradise LA – Where Pets Are Treated Like Royalty (Because They Are)! My family pets live in Encino but this location is in Van Nuys- it's about a 10 minute drive to Paws Paradise. Whether it's snuggling on the couch, taking walks around the block, or playing outside until their little hearts are content, we’ve got it covered. We also keep your pets’ minds sharp with fun puzzles and toys, so they never get bored (and neither will you when you get all those adorable photos I’ll send you!). Paws Paradise LA is available every single day of the week—yes, weekends too! Whether it's a busy Monday or a lazy Sunday, we’ll be there to give your fur babies the best playtime, walks, and cuddles. Oh, and if your pets are morning or night owls, we’ve got you covered, but please note that services outside the usual 8am–8pm window do have a small fee of $30 for early birds or late owls who just can’t wait for their next adventure. So, whether you’re out of town, at work, or just need a little extra help, we’re here to pamper your pets like they’ve never been pampered before. And don’t worry—when you choose Paws Paradise LA, you’re not just getting a service, you’re getting a full-on vacation for your pets! Ready for a pawsome time? Whether it's a quick drop-in or a full-on staycation, your pet is in for an unforgettable time at Paws Paradise LA. Double the love, double the fun—your pets will leave with wagging tails and happy hearts!

Leila was just absolutely wonderful taking care of my little girl. I really appreciated how efficient and understanding Leila was with the care instructions I had left for her. I had no worries while she was in Leila’s care! My Ellie also just adores her and is always excited when she visits. I would definitely recommend Leila and will be using her services again in the future. Thank you!

Leila is phenomenal! Galaxy loves her! He isn’t usually playful around people he doesn’t know but Leila made Galaxy comfortable! She went above and beyond! She took him on a short walk during the drop in before interacting with him at my house! This is a great idea for dogs that aren’t comfortable around strangers! Would definitely request Leila again!
