Love dogs and cats!
In my family we’ve had dogs since I was born, so i’ve never known what it’s like to not have a pet. I would walk, feed, and take care of my dog, Annie, so I’m well equipped to be able to take care of dogs. Annie has had a lot of health issues due to being a pure breed, so i’m used to dealing with having to give dogs medicine, both topical and oral. I’ve always loved dogs and after my Annie passed away recently from cancer I’ve been taking dogs from Doral Animal Shelter out to let them see the world and hopefully get them adopted. I want to continue caring for dogs and becoming a pet sitter is an amazing opportunity to do just that.

I can walk dogs around our safe neighborhood and take them anywhere around the Key. In my home, we have a doggie bed, food, and toys if needed. If in my clients home, I would like them to brief me on things like eating schedule/medicine if needed.
Ratings and reviews
From a very early age, Leila has shown compassion , support and a love for animals. She has volunteered at Miami Dade County pet rescue where she has walked abandoned dogs and spend time to connect with her social media to raise awareness about adoption. Leila grew up with dogs and our basset hound , Annie was with us for much of Leila's young life until our beloved pet passed away this past December. She showed much love and empathy in the last phase of our doggie's life in which she sadly passed away from cancer. Leila is very responsible young person with a high GPA score of 3.98 at her high school , School of Advanced Studies, where she just recently earned her Associate in Art Degree while attending rigorous AP classes and while involved in various club activities as well. I know she would love to find opportuities to connect with pet owners who need help with their fur babies with walks and check in care. We hope she connects to local families in the neighborhood! Leila grew up from the age of five with our beloved Basset Hound Annie until Annie passed away this past December, which was heartbreaking. The best thing for Leila to soothe her soul is to care for the pets of others to fill the void that Annie left upon her passing. Leila is a dog-lover from the day she was born and she will shower that love over any dog for whom she is entrusted to care. I hope your loved canine is lucky enough to have Leila care for them at those times when you cannot.

Schedule
Going to be out of school for the summer and will have flexibility for dog walks and dog/cat time. I live in the area and can accomadate schedule. I am open weekdays and weekends usually, but I will let you know my availability when asked.
