Law student and experienced sitter!
I have been pet sitting in New York for over two years now with a range of experience. In addition to my rover experience, I grew up with a dog and 2 cats! I primarily was a babysitter and nanny from middle school through college (which frequently included caring for pets as well) so I’ve been sitting and taking care of homes for most of my life. Being in law school, pet care has fit very well into my schedule and has given me a chance to have some animals in my life while I live away from my family and pets.

I am a very clean person who pays attention to detail. I tend to clean any space that I’m in (whether that’s dishes or vacuuming) regardless of what I’m expected to do. My home is very clean and I would love any pet that I care for as if they were my own because I miss my pets.
Ratings and reviews
Leila did an amazing job taking care of our dog and staying in our apartment. Punctual, sent lots of pictures, and very communicative! Would totally recommend and I hope to be able to use her services again in the future!
We cannot recommend Leila enough! We left our two Goldendoodles in her care and felt completely at ease the entire time. She was incredibly attentive, sent regular photo updates, and it was clear from every message that our pups were happy, comfortable, and well-loved. Finding someone who genuinely cares for your dogs the way you do is rare, Leila is exactly that. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again!

Leila was so great with my puppy Frankie! I got great pictures and videos where Frankie looked super content and happy. She checked in regularly and even changed her schedule to stay later when I had a train delay.
Leila is punctual, communicative and loves our 2-yo maltipoo! Thanks for hanging with Bobbie and giving him extra cuddles ❣️
Leila responded so quickly to our last minute request after another Rover cancelled on us days before our trip. She took such great care of Marley, sent lots of photos and videos, and she left our apartment in great condition. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I’m in my last year of school and only have classes two days a week, giving me plenty of free time, in addition to the weekends! I would be available for morning care, midday walks, and overnight needs.
