It’s super helpful to know their routine—when they usually eat, go out, and how they like to play or relax. I also like to ask about any quirks, health issues, or things that might make them nervous (like thunderstorms or other dogs). The more I know up front, the better I can make sure they feel safe and at home while you’re away. IMPORTANT: For the health and comfort of all pets, dogs must be bathed within 24-48 hours of drop-off and arrive free of strong odors, fleas, or excessive dirt.

Every day looks a little different depending on the pet, but I always start by making sure they’re fed, have fresh water, and get some attention right away. From there, it’s usually a mix of walks, playtime, and chill time. Essentially, whatever helps them feel safe and happy while you’re gone! I also check in with updates so you’re never left wondering how they’re doing. For dogs, I love going on walks, playing fetch, or even just hanging out in the park. If they like puzzles or games, I’m happy to add that in too. For cats, it’s usually toys, window watching, and lots of gentle affection (on their terms, of course!). I try to match their vibe and keep them feeling at ease.
