Leija was so helpful, agreeing to walking our dog last minute while we went out of town for the weekend. She took the time to come meet Rosie, and discuss what was needed on her walks, which included walking with her cone and off snow to protect an injury. I would definitely book with Leija again! Leija goes above and beyond to keep my cats happy and cared for! One of my cats has some medical needs, and I always know he is well cared for and happy when I’m away from home. Leila’s been my cat sitter many times, and I know I can plan trips because she’ll be there to look after them. She also sends adorable photos and updates so I know how everyone’s doing. Leija is an A+ caregiver for pets. She was my dog walker for over a year, walking my dog daily. My dog always loved being with Leija. Leija was attentive and would notice what things my dog liked and didn't like. On occasions she noticed care item were needed for my pet and would let me know in a helpful way (I noticed her nails are getting long and need a trim). Leija is very reliable and trustworthy. She is pursuing school in animal sciences at UofG, which gives her a unique knowledge of animals and how to care for them.
Leija has always had a deep love for animals. She doesn’t just enjoy playing with them, she genuinely cares about their happiness and comfort. She’s very intuitive and quickly picks up on when a dog may not be feeling well, is hungry or thirsty, or simply needs a little extra love and attention. She’s always gentle in the way she interacts with animals and has a natural ability to earn their trust and become one of their favorite people. Her studies toward becoming a veterinarian truly reflect how much animals mean to her. She’s absolutely someone you can trust with your pup.
