We are 9 acres fully fenced, so lots of space for dogs to safely roam and enjoy themselves. We can also keep dogs on a leash if that works better for their safety.

We do have two rules. All dogs must be friendly with other dogs as Counselor Trixie is a blind dog and we would like everyone to get along. Secondly, all dogs must be ok with being left alone for a couple hours at a time (either in a crate or not). I am a horse back riding instructor and I do leave for lessons for short periods of time each day. But between my boyfriend and I, there is minimal alone time for the dogs.

For high energy dogs, we offer many rounds of fetch and lots of play time. Dogs love to wander around and check out the (safely corralled) horses and (coyote proof cooped) chickens! For the older dogs or those who enjoy their quiet time, we also offer many indoor features such as comfy beds and couches for napping and many toys for playing, cuddling, or tug of war!

Welcome to Camp Wigglebutts!!! We are excited to greet your dog for their visit! Camp Counselors Trixie and Sophie will give your dog the tour and show them all the fun activities we have for them to enjoy. For high energy dogs, we offer many rounds of fetch and lots of play time. Dogs love to wander around and check out the (safely corralled) horses and (coyote proof cooped) chickens! For the older dogs or those who enjoy their quiet time, we also offer many indoor features such as comfy beds and couches for napping and many toys for playing, cuddling, or tug of war! Our previous dog campers have rave reviews about all the fun and activities, and regular campers look forward to their next visit. We know that every dog has their own special needs and interests and we can accommodate them (special diets, medications).

I was so happy to find Leighton. My bigger pup loves to be a ranch dog so the set up is a dream for her as she is comfortable around cats, horses, chickens and other friendly dogs. Leighton is an experienced, sensible and capable animal carer and I felt confident that my dog was in great hands so I could relax. I’ll be back for sure. Thank you!
I'd recommend Leighton as a pet sitter! She is very attentive, flexible and really cares for your pet's needs! Mr. Beans came back home healthy and happy. Every day of the boarding I got an update and a picture of my puppy. Also, Leighton was very responsive and replied to my messages fast. Thank you, Leighton!

Felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Leighton. She clearly loves animals and cares for them with respect and tenderness. I met her dogs and saw her ranch prior to having my lil-buddy, Bali, stay overnight and it was clear the way she cares for her dogs and horses that I could relax knowing Bali was in good hands. She sent me photos so I knew Bali was relaxed and enjoying the visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Will call her again when I need boarding for my furry family members.
