I have been taking care of both cats and dogs ever since I was young for friends and family. I am currently attending college and I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I have been volunteering at my local animal shelter walking dogs for almost 5 years. During that time, I have worked with breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Newfoundlands and I have worked with animals of all temperaments. I also have worked with many species like reptiles and large animals like cows and horses. During my schooling, I have been trained on administering medications to pets and I am able to work with the pets needs! Animals have always been my passion and I have dedicated my career path to helping animals! If you need someone to take your furry family members on walks, or just keep them company, I'm there for you! I work full time Monday-Friday 8-6 with one day off (usually tuesdays) as well as having weekends off!

I have a German shepherd mix and a cat at home, both are super friendly and love to play. Oakley loves to fetch and Denali loves to chase around the laser.

This is the second time Leighanne has stayed with our dogs and she has done an amazing job! She checks in often and sends pictures of your pets! We will definitely be booking her again in the future and recommend her to everyone!
Leighanne was wonderful. Mother Nature came pouring down the day we left and when she arrived my basement was muddy and flooded. This is Troopers comfort zone. She made her comfortable in the kitchen and gave her a new toy since her toys in basement was ruined and even helped with the basement. To go above and beyond is an understatement. Trooper was happy and content when we arrived home and I greatly appreciated her communication with me, her willingness to help, and her commitment to Trooper to keep her happy while we were away. Looking forward to using her again in the near future
Leighanne has dog sat for me many times in the past. Each time she has been very reliable and professional. Leighanne treats all dogs as if they were her own. She is not only professional but has a large background working with animals and I know my pets are safe with her no matter the situation. she handles unexpected circumstances very calmly and efficiently. I highly recommend her to everyone.
I believe that Leighanne would be an awesome candidate for this. She has her Associate’s Degree in vet science and is continuing her education and getting her Bachelor’s Degree. I have worked with her and she has watched over my animals. She has my entire trust and she cares very deeply for each and every animal she encounters.

Leighanne has taken care of my cat while I was out of town numerous times, and she is extremely accommodating. Working with animals is her passion, and that is evident by the care that she provides. She goes above and beyond when taking care of animals, ensuring that they are fed, hydrated, and played with; as well as providing them with company while their families are away!

Schedule
I work full time at a veterinary clinic located in Owego, monday through friday, 8-6pm and typically have friday off. I work a part time job in the morning on weekends but can adjust my schedule there as needed.
