I care for my current cat Pekoe as though she is my literal child. She gets all the attention and love in the world, and I am very cautious and aware of any health issues she may present. I volunteer regularly at shelters and adjust my approach to care giving as I learn the attitude and needs of each individual animals. I recognize them as conscious friends who deserve the love, respect, and safety that we treat humans with.

A typical day
I love helping pets get their zoomies out through play, or walking when appropriate. I like to take the day at their pace, responding to whether they want to chill on the couch, or look at some birds outside or in the window!

I have grown up with dogs all throughout my life, who had varying health issues and required special medical attention occasionally. I have proficient in dog walking, getting the afternoon zoomies out, and administering medication when necessary. My childhood dog is now 12 years old and is dealing with numerous conditions, and I have learned how to care for him and keep him comfortable in his senior life. I’d love to do the same for your dog no matter their age!!

Leigha would be a great choice for pet care. She volunteers at a cat shelter and has always grown up around pets (a dog and two cats) she’s very comfortable and caring with all animals. Leigha is responsible, kind, and genuinely enjoys being around animals. Leigha also has her own cat that she is very loving and attentive with.
