Availability
I work from home! So there’s always lots of attention and affection given to your pet throughout the day. When absent from home, I always want animals to feel comfortable so I don’t typically crate unless otherwise specified. Boarding pickup and drop off hours are designated between 7am -9pm weekdays and 7am-11pm on Fri/Sat. If your hours are outside of this, it is considered a special accommodation and will require an additional fee. Please inquire, thanks!

Please advise of any special needs/requests for your pet prior to booking. If your pet does not get along well with other dogs I am unable to consider booking, please do not request. As dogs spend time outdoors, it is your responsibility as a pet owner to have an active flea and tick treatment on your dog. Rover requires all vaccinations to be up to date. Meet and greets required for first time bookings, held in Downtown area. Thank you
A typical day
I have a public dog park nearby, both for large and small dogs. We love taking evening walks once the Houston heat has given us a bit of relief. On the weekends we often venture to parks and pet friendly establishments. Dogs always have access to toys and daily snacks!

Reviews

Leah was wonderful with my super senior dog! She was kind, attentive, and kept me updated with photos throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. From the pictures, it was obvious my pup was comfortable, happy, and receiving lots of love and attention. Caring for an older dog takes extra patience, and Leah went above and beyond. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

I had to leave my sweet girl—Lin—for the first time while I traveled, I was so so worried, but Leigh was amazing! She sent me pictures everyday and Lin looked so happy and cared for, it was easy for me to relax and enjoy my vacation! I’m so glad I booked with Leigh and I highly recommend her.

Once again, Lenny had an awesome time! We really appreciate you taking good care of him!

I was not initially going to leave a review, but I need to after this experience. Pros- Leigh was responsive. She seemed to genuinely like one of my dogs, the smaller one. She was also able to accept the dogs at whole we were in a time crunch, which really helped. She also sent one daily picture or video. Cons- After the first night, she messaged about one of the dogs peeing. I assumed it was the smaller of the 2 dogs because I failed to mention that he gets nervous around new people in new places. She told me she felt it was the larger dog because he didn't pee when she let them out the night before. At that point, I was confused. Why would he not pee if you knew he had not peed all night (rhetorical)? Also, they are in a new place and anyone with dogs or knows dogs would understand that's what dogs do sometimes regardless of whether they are house broken or not, but I digress. I did offer to pay for any cleaning if there were damages and she declined stating it was the hard floor he peed on. She also made mention of puppy pads in my bag. My dogs haven't used puppy pads in years for the house and those in the bag were used for a long car ride due to occasional car sickness. I told her she could cage him at night if she felt it would be an issue, which she did. Then, she complained he whined all night. At that point, I was wishing I could end my trip early and just pick up my babies. Our flights were delayed due to weather, but I didn't want them to stay with her any longer than they needed. I called as many people as I knew to pick them up. Finally, I found a friend to go and retrieve them. My friend said they were happy to be home once she dropped them off. After the exchange, I received a very dry message stating my friend has the dogs. Didn't really want to address anything at that point because I was glad it was over and done and they survived. Fast forward to today, 14 May 2026, four days after pick up, my small dog was itching so badly, I thought I was going to have to take him to the vet. I decided to just bathe him in chamomile and oatmeal because I thought his allergies were flaring up. Little did I realize he had fleas! Now, I don't even have grass and my dogs don't typically socialize with other dogs outside of my extended family and friends' pets. My baby has never a day in his little life had fleas. I was mortified and disgusted, and knew at that moment I had to write this review. In conclusion, please check your dogs one you receive them back from this location. Even though the dogs were safe, it was not a good fit for us.
