I’ve loved dogs my whole life — I grew up with a family dog from ages 5 to 14, and later had a sweet small rescue in my 30s. I enjoy giving (and getting!) plenty of attention, with playtime being one of my favorite parts — whether it’s a game of chase, a tug-of-war, or a good cuddle. I match the energy of each dog I work with, offering space when they need it and affection when they want it. I especially love brushing them, helping with training using treats, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

In your home, I pay attention to detail and follow whatever instructions necessary to ensure their needs are met while understanding some pets are more high maintenance than others and have just as different personalities as we humans. I really do my best to ensure they’re safe and generally air on the side of caution with them when outside.

Leigh was such a pleasure to work with! From the moment we met her we knew we had met the person that had the capacity and skill to care for our furry companions. Leigh communicated with us daily and she was great on letting us know her plan for each day. She took our dog Tig on several adventures and even took our cat outside for a look around. We could tell by the daily photos she sent that the animals felt very relaxed and cared for. Our house felt very settled and clean when we returned and it felt nice to come back and reconnect with the animals. I would highly recommend Leigh and I definitely plan on booking with her again. If you’re looking for a great person to work with, book Leigh! You will not be disappointed.

Leigh was amazing! Was very detailed oriented and made our pup feel loved and cared for. I felt comfortable with Leigh staying a few nights because they were always so responsive and responsible. Besides long walks and food they gave our Keira lots of quality time and snuggles. Would highly recommend.

Schedule
I currently offer drop ins and dog walking Sundays-Wednesdays all day, Thursdays and Friday mornings and Saturday evenings. I work from home part time and out of the home 1-7p Thursdays, Fridays and 10a-4p on Saturdays. With enough advanced notice, I can be available all days for house sitting.
