Loving home for your canine friends
My wife and I have been dog sitting for over 5 years. This started for family and friends and grew through word of mouth. We have owned dogs for 14 years as a couple. We are looking to pet sit more often. We both work from home so there is always someone here to look after your pooch. We are a fit and healthy couple who do not smoke. We are very active and can walk your four legged friend once or twice a day for 45 mins - 1hour. (Some weekends we like to hike and your companion will be able to join us if they like walking long distances. If your dog is not up for a long walk we would adjust our schedule to suit). We live in a small cul-de-sac in Bridgnorth, at the end of our road is a coppice woodland that was rewilded in the 1960's this is an ideal area for us to walk your dog. If you would like a meet and greet then we'll be happy to go on a quick walk to show you the local area. Dogs we look after do need to be comfortable with sleeping downstairs or our little pup would get jealous!

Cookie and Ruby spent a week with Leigh, Pippa and their lovely cockapoo Lily. We took dogs to meet them before their stay and instantly knew they would be looked after well and we were not disappointed. It was during the heatwave so they were given extra care and attention to make them more comfortable, I really feel we have found the perfect sitters for our precious pooch’s , we had updates and photos daily so could see how happy they were , so no hesitation in choosing Leigh and Pippa next time .
No problem staying with Leigh and Pippa
Julie was with Leigh and his wife Pippa for only one night. Julie had a great time, I guess. I was updated with fotos and videos. Thanks for the great service as Pippa even picked Julie up from our campsite while we were getting ready and all dressed up for a wedding. Thanks a lot.
Ruby seemed to have a wonderful stay. Brilliant communication and lots of photos.

Schedule
I am able to fit our doggy walks in and around work due to being able to work from home. We are able to make sure that toilet breaks can be had when needed and that we can fit in an 1hr walk at lunch time. We often walk our own dog at lunch and straight after work so can walk your pooch twice a day if needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We are both DBS checked due to our careers. We have a fully fenced garden. We are experienced in administering medicine, having looked after a family members dog who required palliative care. We would take details of your vet and make sure your dog was looked after well incase of an emergency.
Pets
A typical day
We have a local wood where we regularly take dogs and it's only 2 minutes from our front door. We are able to walk your dog off lead if they are used to this and have good recall or keep them on lead if that is your preference. We have lots of dog toys including balls, puzzles and treat dispensers. Happy to play fetch type games for dogs that enjoy it.
