Experienced dog walker & sitter
Having grown up with various pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs, I realised I loved animals from an early age. When living overseas I volunteered at animal rescues specifically with animals with disabilities or behaviour issues. I worked with dogs and cats that had disabilities and injuries. I fostered a dog that had no use of his hind legs and had to use wheels or a drag bag to get around, he was also incontinent. Since returning to the UK I have fostered dogs with behavioural problems. I worked at a vets for a year as a receptionist and animal care assistant and developed my skills and knowledge of animal care, particularly with dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I will ask questions about your pet so I can understand their behaviours and how best to keep them safe. This includes understanding your house rules, and any specific requirements you have. When out on a walk I will keep your dog on a lead, if you advise they have good recall and can be walked off lead I will make sure I have built enough trust with your dog and I am confident in their recall before I let them off lead in a safe area.

Highly recommend Leigh-Ann - my doggies love her and she gives them lots of love and fuss.
We rebooked Leigh-Ann for a day sit as she was so great last time. Unfortunately Arthur wasn’t very well and had an upset tummy. Leigh-Ann could not have been more brilliant and cooked him chicken and rice to settle his belly, kept an eye on his stools to make sure it was all getting better and even cleaned up a bit of a poonami. I felt so comfortable knowing he was so safe with her and had updates through to day mostly of him fast asleep with her on the sofa as he obviously felt so comfortable with her too. Cannot recommend Leigh-Ann enough!
Leigh-Ann looked after our 4 month old puppy for the weekend and was amazing. She took care of him like he was her own, sent lovely updates of them on walks in the sun as well as giving him lots of attention needed for a crazy puppy! I hope she’d like to look after him again in the future!

I am self employed and work remotely so have full control over my schedule and as long as I have enough notice I can be available any day of the week.
