Hi, I’m Leidy! I absolutely love working with dogs of all sizes and personalities—including those with special needs. I share my home with my two amazing Bernese Mountain Dogs, Apollo and Akilla. They’re both incredibly friendly, social, and currently in training to become therapy dogs. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve cared for dogs with anxiety, reactivity, and other behavioral challenges—case by case. Apollo, in particular, has played a big role in helping other dogs build confidence and improve their social skills. He’s also an excellent puppy mentor, helping young pups learn how to behave and burn off that endless puppy energy in a positive way! We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and relax. I’m committed to following your dog’s specific routines and rules because I believe consistency helps them feel secure and adapt quickly. Whether your dog needs extra attention, gentle guidance, or just a fun and safe place to stay, we’re here to help. Looking forward to caring for—and spoiling—your furry family member!

Great communication, my dog had a wonderful time! She came home and went straight to her pillow! I love the idea she was able to play with the Bern’s.

Leidy and her pups Apollo’s be Akilla were incredible company for my dog Sami during his 6 day stay. Leidy was so thoughtful and always kept me up to date, Sami looked so happy and comfortable in all the pictures. Will definitely use Leidy’s services again and absolutely recommend!!
Such a great experience choosing Leidy to care for Milo. I planned a last minute trip and she was quick to respond, set up a meeting, and made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy for the day and night. She was very communicative and I received many updates and pictures.

Schedule
I am 100% remote which gives me the ability to care for your pup throughout the day. I am free on weekends so I can spend extra time caring for your pup. I have 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs, Apollo and Akilla are sociable Dogs who get along well with dogs of all sizes, from puppies to seniors. They adept at reading their personalities and adjusts his energy level accordingly when they come to visit, always respectful of their space and consistently friendly towards them.

I appreciate communication from the owners in regards the doggies personality which helps me with better approach on how to take care of the dogs when they suffer of separation anxiety or any other mental of physical issue. If your pets are used to getting on furniture, I am happy to let them join; if not, I completely understand. *****I have no kids but I have 2 Bernese Mountain dog named Apollo (1 year old) and Akilla (6months old).

A typical day
Regular work days are spent around the House while still going for regular walks as needed. After work is over and on weekends, I enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood throughout the day and also visiting the local dog park to burn some energy and play with other dogs and playing in the beach as we have full access to a private one. If your dog is low energy, don't worry, I can just relax and be lazy in the sand!
