Affordable + Remote Worker
Hiya! Are you looking for someone who is affordable + will give your pup the love and affection they need? Are you looking for someone who has a very flexible schedule and who is physically fit to walk/jog/hike/play with your dog? Well, hey, I'm Leeza and I'm your girl! I've been around dogs my entire life, I've raised up "aggressive" breeds like Rottweilers and Dobermans, and I'm a foster parent for Austin Pets Alive. I have experience with very anxious dogs and have received pet therapy training to aid even the most scared dog. Just as I can deal with high-energy and anxious dogs, I am well-versed in caring for senior dogs and dogs with health issues. On top of everything, I'm a researcher who works from home, so I have all the flexibility in the world to give your dog some TLC. I also have a two dogs of my own—a 10 pound mixed breed named Freida, and Juju, a bowling ball in canine form. They always enjoy extra friends to chill with.

Leeza stayed at our home to watch our dogs and cat for 11 days while we were on vacation. During that time she took wonderful care of our pets and sent updates daily. She was super communicative and it was so nice to enjoy our vacation without worrying! One of our dogs is super nervous around new people and Leeza's knowledge of dogs and appropriate body language went really far in helping her quickly gain our dog's trust. This was super important to us and went a long way in reassuring us that we were trusting our pets with the right person. We will definitely have Leeza back!
Leeza did a great job watching our two dogs. She was kind and considerate while staying in our home and I know the dogs had a blast while she was with them!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work remotely, so I’m never likely to be gone from my home for more than 3 hours or so. I go on walks each morning and evening with my own dog, about 30 minutes each.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a townhome and walk my dogs often. I’ll never have your dog off-leash in an area that isn’t enclosed. I’ll treat your dog just as I treat my own —which is maybe spoil them too much :)

A typical day
I love to go on hiking trails or a take a brisk walk downtown. Playing fetch at Zilker Park is always fun! If the dog has the temperament, I would bring them along with me to a dog-friendly cafe as I write.
