To me, the most important part of pet care is patience and communication, even when that communication doesn't involve words. Every animal has their own personality, boundaries, routines, and way of telling you what they need. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs at every stage of life, from puppies and kittens all the way through to senior and end-of-life. I've managed medications, been there through surgeries, and loved them all along the way. At 9 years old, I finally wore down my parents and they got me a puppy. Paige was my entire world, my best friend, and my sister. She taught me the importance of love and patience, and the true meaning of responsibility. After losing her last summer, I dove headfirst into being a crazy cat lady. After fostering for some time, I adopted 2 precious kitties of my own. Now I just cannot get enough animal love! Since I work from home, I love the chance to get out and spend some much needed time with my neighbourhood fur-friends. I do this because at the end of the day, there's no better feeling than taking care of someone else. Especially when they've got 4 legs and they're covered in fur from head to toe!
