I am currently available to pet sit alongside university, where I work on campus or remotely which fits perfectly around caring for your pets. I am able to give them as much attention as they need throughout the day and they are always my top priority.

Safety, trust & environment
I always follow the owner's routine to ensure your pet doesn't suffer any stress whilst you are away. I make sure they are fed, have constant access to fresh water, occasionally treats and plenty of cuddles. If you have a garden I love to go out a few times a day and monitor when your dog needs the loo. I will walk your dog at least 30 minutes every day and follow any guidelines you have for routes and behaviour. I provide daily/twice daily updates for your peace of mind and make sure your home is tidy on your return.
Information Leanne Jane H. would like to know about your pet
Anything specific to your pet's care will be followed exactly and if there are other special care tasks that are required these can be discussed during the enquiry.
A typical day
I will make sure I am up nice and early to serve your pets breakfast (8-10am) and complete any other extra care your pets may need, as well as making sure they are let outside to relieve themselves. There will be plenty of attention throughout the day and a 30-60minute walk around the neighborhood and parks. I plan safe routes beforehand and mix these routes up for engagement. I enjoy spending time in the garden, keeping your pet as happy as possible whilst you're away. I never rush dogs when they are sniffing or exploring, taking treats and a ball to a park and always being aware of your dogs behaviour towards passersby, traffic and other dogs. Once back home I will usually work remotely as your pets snooze away, but remain mindful if they need anything. I will serve dinner (5-7pm) and then usually settle in for some cuddles and movies to end a fun day.

Your pets are my priority 🌟
Pet care experience
Hi I'm Leanne, I'm a 33 year old PhD in English student who's dedicated to animal care with over a decade of experience in caring for cats, dogs and other pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds etc. I have experience in looking after young, adult, senior and sick pets, administrating oral medication, following set routines and dog walking of various breeds. I have also volunteered for the RSPCA over the years and always look for opportunities related to animal care. I'm able to sit on short notice and as well as your pets being my priority, I would also treat your home with the upmost respect and provide regular updates on your furry friends with messages, pictures and videos. If you have three or more furry friends and you require an extended stay the total price can be modified to reflect this commitment. A fair price is the aim and the best care for your cherished animals. I also don't charge extra for small pet care. I have owned cats and small pets myself, and I am my friends go-to when they need a pet sitter in a pinch. A written reference can be provided here on request. I have plenty of experience with dogs of various breeds and sizes and would like to continue caring for animals as a regular pet sitter due to my love in looking after pets and keeping them company. It's something that brings me joy and I'd be happy to create good connections with animal care in my area. I'll also be gaining experience in doggy day care and grooming this autumn as a volunteer to further my skills, alongside canine CPR which I will add to my profile on completion. Aside from my work with animals I study English Literature. I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and I pet sit around my PhD in English at Loughborough University. This is a hybrid role meaning I don't need to leave your dogs for more than a few hours on university days. I also enjoy reading, travel and photography.
Reviews
Leanne Jane looked after our 2 dogs for the day, we had regular updates during the day which was great. When we got home they were happy and settled and the house was tidy. Thank you. They are excited for Leanne's next visit

Leanne is a great dog sitter, calm, caring but assertive with the dogs when needed. She looked after our house and the dogs very well while we were away for 4 days. I would definitely book Leanne again.

Leanne is a calm and confident dog sitter, my dogs took an immediate liking to her and had a great day with her yesterday while we were at a wedding. I had a couple of updates and photos throughout the day which was great. We have booked Leanne again next week while we go away for 4 days.

Sadly I’m afraid not a good match for us
