Availability
I work from home 4 days out of 5 and manage my own schedule, on the 5th day my hours flexibly vary however this would be tailored if boarding to ensure consistency of care - this would be discussed at booking. Weekend availability will be regularly updated on my calendar to ensure if we do have family plans any care responsibilities are not compromised. I will only agree to provide services where I can genuinely guarantee I can meet need.

I have fenced gardens (front and rear), my own dog (5 year old spaniel) is crate trained and we have a stair gate in place to stop dogs venturing out of sight upstairs (our spaniel is a sock thief so this is mainly for her safety!!!) I will add that there are no socks, tea towels, tv remotes, coasters ... anything not nailed down actually, that your dog can get hold of so if you also have a little friendly thief they will be quite safe here! We are all very used to ensuring everything is put above waist height!

Information Leanne H. would like to know about your pet
With me, your dog isn’t just cared for — they’re understood as the individual they are so please share all of their individual needs, traits and quirky mannerisms to help me understand them and care for them in the best way - as you would I pay close attention to body language and behaviour, offering calm reassurance to nervous pups and fun play to energetic ones. I follow home routines closely for meals, walks, and rest, keeping things familiar and stress-free. Exercise and enrichment are always matched to age, breed, and ability, ensuring dogs stay stimulated but never overworked. For dogs with medical or mobility needs, I provide gentle, attentive support — from medication to toileting — always with patience and dignity. Whether your pup loves cuddles on the sofa or prefers quiet company, I adapt to what makes them happiest.
A typical day
Each dog is unique, so I always tailor their routine to match their age, health, and personality. A “typical day” might look like this: A gentle wake-up with cuddles and reassurance. Breakfast served at their usual time, with any medications given as required. A relaxed walk suited to their energy level — whether that’s a short sniffari for older pups or a brisker stroll for youngsters. Playtime and enrichment activities, such as puzzle toys, sniff games, or gentle fetch to keep their minds stimulated. Quiet rest periods so they can nap comfortably, following their home routine. Toilet breaks as required and mobility support if needed. Lunchtime walk available depending on dogs needs and weather. I will not walk during the day if considered too hot to do so. Dinner at their usual time, with care taken to follow any dietary requirements. Another walk, before or after food as per usual routine. Sofa time for snuggles, strokes, or simply sitting together so they feel safe and loved. Settling them in line with their normal bedtime routine Throughout the day, I provide constant companionship, plenty of affection, and careful observation to make sure every dog feels happy, secure, and understood. My dog-loving daughter is also on hand around school and dance time to offer extra cuddles and play, making sure your pup feels like part of our family.

Pet care experience
🐾Loving, Experienced Dog Sitter 🐾 Hello! I’m a lifelong dog lover with many years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Dogs have always been at the heart of mine and my husbands Gavin's life, and I pride myself on providing care that’s both loving and reliable — the kind of care I’d want for my own furry family member. Golden oldies very much welcome as are pups. Multiple dogs from same household accepted. 💙 Specialist Care for Brachycephalic Breeds I have extensive, professional, experience with brachycephalic breeds (pugs, bulldogs, Frenchies, etc.), understanding their unique needs around breathing, exercise, and comfort. 💊 Medical Care & Support I’m confident and comfortable administering medications and am sympathetic to dogs with additional needs, whether that’s mobility support, skin care, hearing, sight or special toileting routines. Every dog deserves patience and dignity, and I tailor my care to each pup’s requirements. 🏡 A Home Away from Home I follow your dog’s home routines closely so they feel safe, settled, and stress-free. Whether that’s mealtimes, food type, walks, or bedtime rituals, consistency is key. And yes — in my home, dogs are always welcome on the sofa for snuggles! Exciting new dog walking locations constantly sought so your pup, if they enjoy long walks, will be guaranteed varied experiences whilst with us. All dogs will be walked on leads or long lines unless in secured fields and will be transported legally with all dogs being secured as I do my own if we go further afield than a local routine walk. We regularly plan day trips around walking our dog in new places which we know she will enjoy. 👨👩👧 A Family Full of Love We also have two older, dog-loving children (13 & 19) who have grown up with our own dogs and many foster dogs so they are extremely dog savvy. They’re always happy to share in the cuddles, walks, games, and gentle companionship — giving your pup even more love and attention while you’re away. 🐕 My Promise Gentle, loving care while you’re away Full attention to health and wellbeing Comfortable, cuddly environment that feels like home A family who will welcome your dog as one of our own Your dog’s happiness and health are my top priorities. I’d love to meet you and your pup to see how I can make your time apart worry-free and tail-wagging happy.
Reviews
Jill was really well looked after by Leanne and her family, we were kept updated on how Jill was getting on each day with messages and photographs, so we could relax knowing that Jill was well cared for, very happy to recommend Leanne, thank you so much, Andy

AMAZING!! Leanne and gavin are just simply amazing. After struggling for so long to get a sitter that would take care of our dog after many failed meet and greets.Leanne and having had no issues! They had taken every concern I had on board and adapted to our dog routine. The reassurance they gave was brilliant. Our dog stayed for 5 nights. I was kept up to date on how he was. It was the first time I had gone on holiday and came back to no issues. It just shows how great and adaptable they are and allowing you to have a brilliant holiday. I honestly can’t thank them enough.billy cannot wait to come back!!

Perfect as always!

First time we left our dog with Leanne and her family but it all went smoothly. Monty was so well looked after and made a complete fuss of! Leanne updated us the whole time we were away which made us feel at ease and able to enjoy our holiday. We've already booked again for our next weekend away.
