I'm PhD student who has great experience of caring for and loving cats. My own little ones, Huckleberry (ginger British Shorthair) and Fox (solid blue Sphynx) are the loves of my life. As a vegan, I love all animals and truly believe that care and compassion towards all animals and their welfare is so important, so I will always put the wellbeing of your cat companion as the utmost of importance. Despite not eating meat myself, the diet of a cat is very important for their health, and the wellbeing of animals that we have responsibility for should be paramount, and so I am able to feed them wet (meat) and dry meals/snacks. I'm a PhD student, so I am quite flexible for day visits/evening visits to keep them company and give them a little cuddle whilst you are away. I love to interact with cats and make sure they have some physical exercise (if they are able) by having some play with toys etc. I am also affectionate and gentle with cats who are maybe older, shy around strangers, or don't like being handled; cats all have their own wonderful individual personalities and traits and I am happy to take time and let your cat come to me. I do also just love a snuggle with a furry little critter. I have administered covert medication (liquid and tablet form) in food and via syringe for cats who have been unwell or have medical conditions and would be happy to do this if this is something your furry friend required. I also hold a clear Police Act Disclosure certificate from Disclosure Scotland, which I would be willing to provide evidence of if you wish. Miaow!
