My wonderful cat, Archie, taught me how to carefully administer medication and, more importantly, how to become highly attuned to an animal’s needs through body language and non-verbal communication. I’ve also grown up caring for bull-breed dogs, and I had a beloved frog named Fern who lived an incredible 24 years.
