Pet care experience
I have lived and cared for dogs since I was 3 years old and developed a strong bond with my family’s new puppy. Once I moved to college I made a decision to buy my own dog. I have a 9 pound Maltipoo named willow. She is very needy and active which requires a lot of attention from me. My dog willow is also very reactive towards other dogs and humans so I am EXTREMELY cautious when it comes to taking care of any dog or cat. I also lived with my cousin who had a 13 pound Maine coon cat and frequently watched over her while my cousin was out of town on the weekends. I used to dog sit 2 brother/sister puppy golden doodles who also required a lot of attention. I have also watched my brothers 80 pound bernadoodle puppy for weekends at a time back home in PA. I am an avid lover of all animals (minus rats and snakes).

I keep my own dog on a leash at all times when outside to ensure maximum safety. As I said earlier my dog is very reactive so this had made me extremely aware of all surrounding when handling other peoples animals.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive around people, children or other dogs. Like I said earlier my dog is pretty reactive towards other dogs so so am always on top of my game and aware of my surroundings.
A typical day
A typical day with my dog and I include at least 3 walks per day. I try to spread them out evenly thought out my day so that my dog has a very active and strict schedule. I believe structure is key to a well behaved and happy dog.
