Dogs Rule, Cats are Cool!
I have had dogs most of my adult life. My first dogs I raised from puppies -Eddie a golden lab and Gizmo a rat terrier poodle mix. I took both of them to obedience training and Gizmo and I did agility. In recent years I have adopted older dogs and now have Oakley, a 12 year old Australian shepherd/cavalier king Charles. I love walking dogs and feel it is good for them mentally as well as physically. I try to train them a little when needed and I talk to them. I have also volunteered with a rescue organization and fostered many dogs with different personalities and attitudes. I am pretty good at assessing a dogs demeanor and needs.

I am very attentive to the dogs I care for in addition to providing for basic needs. I do my best to make them comfortable and work on building trust with them. I can walk them in your neighborhood, around lakes, on trails or even take them to the dog park if you prefer. I have a lot of experience with leash training, so don't worry if your dog pulls, we can work on that! When doing DROP-IN VISITS I take care of feeding, medications, taking your dog out for potty and walking. I sit with your dog and play with them, depending on what they like. When I HOUSE SIT, in addition to caring for your pets, I will take care of household chores i.e. taking in mail, putting out/taking in trash bins and other similar items. I will stay overnight and during the day I may be in and out. Please let me know your specific needs and we can discuss.

We had a great first stay with Leanne! She is very kind and caring. It’s hard to leave your fur babies behind when you go on vacation but I didn’t worry about Bowie because I knew he was in good hands with Leanne! She sent notes and photos and Bowie enjoyed his time with Leanne. I would recommend her!
Leanne & her sweet dog, Oakley, took exceptional care of my 11 year old pooch! She was very communicative, sent photos, and did everything to make my dog and me feel comfortable. I would definitely utilize her services again.
OMG, what a wonderful sitter. We did ok up our dog a little early due to our busy schedule but I felt guilty because by the pics Leanne sent us, we could tell he was having a great time. Leanne gave beyond and above our expectations for a pet sitter. Thanks Leeanne!!!

Schedule
I am retired and have a flexible schedule for pet care. Exercise is a big part of my life and dog walking/drop-in visits keep me active. I am available almost anytime on Monday, Tuesday and Fridays, Wednesday mornings, and Saturday/Sunday afternoons for dog walking. I am available almost anytime for drop-in visits and house/dog sitting.
