Hi, I’m Leanna! I’m an experienced house and pet sitter and remote freelance professional, which makes me particularly well suited to overnight and multi-day sits. Because I work remotely, I’m often able to spend much of the day at home with the pets in my care while keeping their normal routines intact. I enjoy the quieter side of pet sitting: keeping animals company, feeding and caring for them according to their usual schedule, maintaining a calm home environment, and making sure owners can travel knowing both their pets and their home are being looked after thoughtfully. I’m comfortable following detailed household and pet-care instructions, providing regular updates, bringing in mail and packages, watering plants, keeping the home tidy, and noticing when something seems unusual. My best fits are longer house sits, cats and multi-cat households, lower-energy or older dogs, pets who appreciate having someone around during the day, and households looking for a dependable sitter rather than primarily a dog-walking service. Leanna did a great job watching my cat for me multiple times. She follows instructions well and made my cat feel so well cared for I think he was disappointed when I came back haha. I think animals can tell what kind of person someone is and by the way my cat gets excited when he gets to see her again I can tell he’s a big fan. So if you’re looking for a pet sitter, but also for your animal to enjoy being looked after, Leanna is the perfect fit.

Leanna is our regular, go-to house and dog sitter. Our dog (65 lb lab mix) has behavioral issues as well as food sensitivities and an overactive immune system, both of which require a strict diet and medication. Leanna is extremely organized and detail-oriented so I know I can trust her to monitor our dog's diet and medication schedule. He also absolutely LOVES her and is very obedient/submissive with her. Since working with Leanna (for a few years now), we've been able to take weekend trips and even international vacations! It's a relief to know my home and my fur baby are in good hands!

Schedule
Generally manage breakfast and litter/potty needs first thing with my morning tea or coffee before starting work. Unless your pets have specific routines, I'll generally take breaks every few hours, plus meal breaks to do check ins, play time, snacks, and activity as needed.
