Hi there! My name is Leann. I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals in a variety of capacities: dog walker, pet sitter, veterinary kennel assistant, dog daycare attendant, and of course, a pet owner. I am available most weekdays and some weekends to offer my services to those in the community looking for safe, responsible, and reliable care for their pets. I have had animals of one kind or another my entire life and have had a dog continuously since 2005. I have also pet and house sat for many people over the years and my focus has always been to ensure the pets are happy and safe above all else. I believe there is nothing more valuable in this world than the trust of a dog and that means that I will always do my very best to ensure your pup is comfortable while in my care. I have previously worked at a doggy daycare and training facility that practices positive reinforcement techniques and you can be assured that the same skills I used while at work are what I will bring with me to care for your pup. One of the best things about this job is that it gave me the opportunity to be around large groups of dogs and see how they interact with each other. What this means for you and your pup is that I am knowledgeable about their body language and can tell when they are getting nervous, anxious, scared, or over-excited and I can deal with the situation quickly before it becomes a larger issue. Depending on your dog's health and activity level I can offer multiple walks throughout the day and there is a potential for car rides, hikes, and off-leash time depending on the weather and my schedule.
