Hi there! My name is Leann. I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals in a variety of capacities: dog walker, pet sitter, veterinary kennel assistant, dog daycare attendant, and of course, a pet owner. I am available most weekdays and some weekends to offer my services to those in the community looking for safe, responsible, and reliable care for their pets. I have had animals of one kind or another my entire life and have had a dog continuously since 2005. I have also pet and house sat for many people over the years and my focus has always been to ensure the pets are happy and safe above all else. I believe there is nothing more valuable in this world than the trust of a dog and that means that I will always do my very best to ensure your pup is comfortable while in my care. I have previously worked at a doggy daycare and training facility that practices positive reinforcement techniques and you can be assured that the same skills I used while at work are what I will bring with me to care for your pup. One of the best things about this job is that it gave me the opportunity to be around large groups of dogs and see how they interact with each other. What this means for you and your pup is that I am knowledgeable about their body language and can tell when they are getting nervous, anxious, scared, or over-excited and I can deal with the situation quickly before it becomes a larger issue. Depending on your dog's health and activity level I can offer multiple walks throughout the day and there is a potential for car rides, hikes, and off-leash time depending on the weather and my schedule. Leann was pleasant to meet and walk through our drop in visits. She did everything we asked and made sure that our cats were given as many pets as they wanted when she stopped by. I will definitely be using Leann again when we need to go out of town again.

Leann was so flexible and accommodating watching Roo. She sent me lots of photos and updates too! I really appreciated her willingness to adapt to my changing schedule and overall felt like she did a fantastic job! Her pup Bowie and Roo looked like they had a blast! If we’re ever in Moses Lake again, we will book her again. :)
Leann was fantastic with our three fur babies which allowed us a weekend at The Gorge with peace of mind that they would be well cared for. Our crew has a variety of needs and challenges and she was quite unphased and gave us reassurance with confidence. She knew how nervous we were and provided photos and updates that fully allowed us to enjoy our time away. When we picked up our crew, they were healthy, happy, and calm and it was wonderful to see that they managed so well. As a side note, our two Dobermans have previously struggled with other boarders and always rubbed their noses raw but in her care, showed no stress signs and were quick to adjust back into our routine with no setbacks! That is a really big deal. I would highly recommend Leann for pet sitting and, more importantly, so would our dogs.
Leann is always great with our kitty Lexi. She goes above and beyond the "normal" stuff sitters do, and it's always welcomed. We highly recommend Leann.

Schedule
I am currently working from home the majority of the time. I work out of the home for 6-hour shifts on Mondays and every other weekend but my sister is home during those times to ensure any house guests are still able to take timely potty breaks and get out to play.

Safety, trust & environment
When in your home I will do my best to keep the routine your pets are used to. My goal is to always leave your home in the same, or better, condition than it was in when I arrived. When your pets are at my home they are welcome to enjoy the fenced yard, hang out with my dogs and share their toys, or just chill out and get lots of pets while I'm working. Animal guests are also welcome to take breaks in a crate if they are a little overwhelmed by the change of location and routine.

A typical day
When visiting your pets at your own home I will do my best to stick to your routine for walks and visits to parks. When your pets are here, you can expect them to get lots of attention and be allowed to play both inside and out in the fenced yard quite often throughout the day. Let me know what you are comfortable with and I will make it happen :)
