I have 30 years of experience caring for animals and have fostered, cared for, and adopted dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from rambunctious puppies and shy, skittish rescues to sweet seniors. My rescue experience has taught me that every pet is different, and I’m comfortable adjusting my approach to help them feel safe and comfortable. I also have experience caring for cats and kittens and understand that they often prefer attention on their own terms. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby, I’m happy to follow their lead and routine.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, treats, household rules, and routines. Years of fostering and working with rescue dogs have made me especially mindful of shy or fearful pets, door-dashers, escape risks, and animals who need extra patience when meeting someone new. I never force interaction and allow pets the time and space they need to become comfortable with me. I’m also happy to send photos and updates during each visit so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and being well cared for.

Leann has babysat our animals dozens of times. We have 3 cats and 1 dog, two of which are on the shy/skittish side. Leann Marie would be an amazing dog sitter. She has had dogs of her own her whole adult life and currently has three rescue dogs. In addition to proving an amazing, loving, safe home to her three she has fostered countless dogs over the years for a local rescue. She currently serves on the Board of Directors with the rescue and volunteers many hours a week in various aspects of the rescue in order to help the dogs find loving, safe homes of their very own.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, so I’ll do my best to keep meals, walks, medications, potty breaks, and visits on their normal schedule. My flexibility also allows me to give each pet the time, attention, and care they deserve.
