I have been a pet lover my entire life. I was raised in a home where we had Ferrets, Hamsters, a Pet Skunk, a Squirrel named Boomer, as well as Dogs and Cats ... I am very loving and warm to animals and think that animals are more than pets ..they are family members. I have always been a fur mom and would be honored to help you provide the care you would want for your fur baby. Your fur baby will be cuddled, scratched, played with, and loved as if they were my own in your absence. I service Transylvania County, Jackson County and Macon County including Lake Toxaway as well as the Highlands-Cashiers area. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Prompt and reliable

Our cat Teddy can be standoffish at times. But he warmed up to Leandra right away - it was clear from her pictures and notes that he was a happy guy. He ate well, got his meds and it appears she even convinced him to go out and sit on our porch in the mornings - I did not expect that from him! I couldn't be happier with the service and care she provided. I would definitely use Leandra again and would be certain to recommend her to others. Thank you! Jean
Leandra was an amazing sitter for our many dogs! We had lots of instructions and she followed them perfectly. She took photos and videos, and she communicated with me very well! I’d be happy to book her again.

I am prompt and dependable and will not disappoint you or your pet. Your pets health and well being is of upmost importance to me and I will care for them as if they were my own.

I am available to house sit in your home while you are away so they may stay on their normal routine. I have outstanding reviews and can provide additional references as well if needed. I water plants, can care for “off season” homes and ensure your home is safe and secure while you are away.

A typical day
I am available to walk your pet in your neighborhood or take them on a walk through familiar home turf - I can take them out for bigger adventures like getting a pup cup as they (and you) become more comfortable with me - I have a pet seatbelt strap to secure them in my vehicle as well as we travel
