Dog adventures in the Desert!
I grew up with a very active and energetic Husky/Chow mix, and learned a lot through that experience about dealing with more high maintenance dogs who required a lot of activity and exercise. After college I began to dog sit for my co-workers and friends when they would go out of town. I've watched all types of dogs, for as little as 2 days, to as long as 2 months. In general I can provide a dog with a lot of exercise and activity if they need it, as I'm very active and love to be outdoors. When your dog is staying with me, I treat it as if it were my own, and I love enjoying the outdoors with the dogs that I care for. I have my own dog, a 2 year old Great Pyrenees. He is extremely friendly and loves every dog he's ever met. If you have a dog that is friendly and playful, they will do great here. We go for hikes and walks every day and also the dog park as often as I can (although we will only go with your pet if you approve it!)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced backyard, and additional dog park type spaces in my townhome complex. I have several safe walking paths within walking distance of my house to take pets on longer walks. In my home, I want pets to feel at home, and stick to the routine that makes them most comfortable in their home. Because my puppy is currently crated at night, it would be best if your dog is crate trained as well, just to keep up the routine. In general I try to exercise caution and keep your dog as safe and happy as possible when they are with me. Whether I am at your home, or my own I want to do everything I can to assure that you return to a happy and healthy pet. I will never take risks such as bringing other pets over while I am watching your pet, or letting your pet off leash on walks. I am very cautious and my number one concern is your pets safety.

Leah took great care of our dog while we were away for a week. She provided updates to us, and she was attentive to our dog’s schedule and routine. She even let our dog sleep in her bed and really made her feel at home. I highly recommend Leah - no reservations!
An emergency visit to Tucson found me searching for the perfect Rover Doggy Day Care provider. I feel so fortunate to have found Leah Z! Super fast response, great communication and sweet enthusiastic personality which captured my dog’s heart! I appreciate that she focuses her sittings on one dog at a time so they get her undivided attention. Her home is clean, dog friendly and in a nice open location. He came home a happy and tired dog. I highly recommend her and will definitely book her if available the next time I am in town.
Leah was great. She was a great communicator and took care of Ollie so well and kept our home clean while she was here. We will definitely use her again.

Schedule
I currently work full time from home. If I am house sitting, I will work from your home and I will be home all day to care for your pet and take it for walks. If the pet stays in my home the same applies, I will be home working and available to care for the pet all day.
