Information Leah Y. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a pet, it's important to know their routine, medical needs, personality, and any special preferences. I’ll ask about their feeding schedule, medications, exercise habits, favorite activities, and any behavioral quirks or anxieties they may have. Understanding their socialization level, triggers, and comfort zones helps me provide the best care possible. I also want to know their emergency vet information and any household rules they follow to ensure consistency. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, happy, and stress-free while giving owners peace of mind.

A typical day

A typical day as a pet sitter starts with a warm greeting, ensuring the pet feels comfortable and cared for. I'll provide fresh food, water, and any necessary medications, followed by a walk or playtime to keep them active. Throughout the day, I'll engage them with fun activities like fetch, brain games, or cuddle time, depending on their personality and energy level. I’ll also maintain their routine, clean up after them, and provide companionship to ensure they feel safe and happy. Whether it's an energetic play session or a relaxing belly rub, I'll tailor my care to their needs while keeping owners updated on their pet’s well-being.

Loving Care, Peace of Mind

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every pet. I’m calm, patient, and very in tune with animals, which helps me quickly build trust—especially with shy or anxious pets. I care for pets of all ages, from young ones who need structure and consistency to seniors who require a slower, more gentle approach. I pay close attention to routines and small details so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. My goal is simple: to give your pet a loving, dependable environment—and give you complete peace of mind.

Leah is an outstanding dog walker. She easily handled not one but two dogs that are XL. Cassie & D'Artangnan's combine weight is nearly 200lbs! I prefer that they are walked together as that is how I normally do with them, before I injured my knee. Leah was eager to try it the 1st day, and did an amazing walk handling then simultaneously, that is not easy because one walks quickly & the other has a slower pace. She is loving and thoughtful with the dogs and takes incredible pictures. I Highly recommend her for dog walking and plan on hiring her for dog sitting as well.
