Treating Your Pets Like My Own ❤️

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have always been surrounded by them growing up. I currently have 3 dogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with caring for dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, love and care. I’ve also looked after family members’ pets in the past, which has given me experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. Although I’m new to Rover, looking after animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy and I would treat every pet as if they were my own. 🐾❤️

I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while they’re with me. I’m used to having dogs around and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I would follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime and plenty of attention and cuddles. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I would respect their space and keep to the pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable in familiar surroundings. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions from the owner and keep them updated with how their pet is doing. 🐾❤️

Schedule

I work part time but I don’t have a set weekly schedule as my shifts change from week to week. This means my availability can vary, but I’m able to plan my pet-sitting commitments around my work rota. I’ll always make sure I know my availability in advance and will communicate clearly with owners to arrange dates and times that work for everyone. 🐾

Before looking after a pet, I’d like to know a little about their personality, routine and individual needs. It would be helpful to know their feeding and walking routine, any specific behaviours or things they’re nervous about, how they are around other dogs and people, and whether they have any special requirements. I’d also want to know their likes and dislikes, favourite toys or activities, and anything else that would help me make sure they feel happy, safe and comfortable while they’re in my care. 🐾❤️
