Availability
I am full time on Rover, so I am able to care for your pets before, during, and after business hours! Rain, snow, or shine I’m happy to attend to your pets needs :) Update as of 11/06/25: my current schedule has me walking my regular clients from 9am-2pm. I am available outside of these hours. I am, unfortunately, unable to take on clients in the Hart at this time.

I am fiercely protective of the animals in my care — I have taken a defensive handling course, and carry different deterrents should we encounter any dangerous animals. I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals of many different species (dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds, reptiles, horses, chickens, cows, sheep, and goats!), due to this I have gained a deep appreciation for animal behaviour and welfare. I specialize in fearful and reactive dogs, as well as puppies! I have many years of experience handling dogs with behavioural concerns, and I am comfortable accommodating most behaviours. Meet and greet’s are required for all new clients - I ask that any behaviour concerns are brought up at this time. I am a strong advocate for the humane treatment of animals, and recognize that all animals deserve to live a happy, healthy, and enriched life — whatever that looks like for them. I have attended countless webinars on animal behaviour and handling, as well as having hired professional trainers to guide me on my journey. I volunteer with the PG Humane Society, the BCSPCA, the Prince George Therapeutic Riding Association, BC Wildlife Federation, and Northern Bear Awareness Society. Through my training with BCSPCA I have earned my Fear Free certification, and I regularly access the continuing education provided via Fear Free.

Leah has been amazing with out reactive dog. I truly believe her drop in visits have made a huge positive change in our dogs behaviour. She's also incredibly professional, always on time and I trust her to handle our epileptic pups medication. Thanks for everything Leah.
Leah is so amazing and we feel so lucky to have her walking our two dogs. Our two dogs have individual specific needs while walking on leash, specifically passing other dogs on leash - and Leah is so attentive, and provides detailed descriptions of how the walks went. Leah is very communicative and punctual, and I would really recommend her for anyone! :)
Leash was very punctual and accepted the last minute request. Both dogs came back tired and very happy - will definitely be booking again!
