I am currently between pets of my own (and still a little too heartbroken to get one), so I'd love the opportunity to be an "auntie" for your dog when you need a sitter! My house is currently pet free, so if your pup needs (or just likes) special care, I am able to give them my attention without the stress of meeting other animals. I grew up on a farm with all sorts of animals - and ALWAYS dogs. Over the years I've had a lot of useful experience - puppies, elderly dogs, reactivity, shyness, giving medications (easy & hard kinds), body language, escape artists, anxiety, treating small boo-boos, and knowing when its time to go to the vet. I've also had a doodle, so I am a PRO at brushing (and actually really enjoy it) ;) I'm happy to answer any questions, and open to discussing your pet's specific needs to make sure I am a good fit for their care while you're away.
