Let me love on your pup for a bit!
I am currently between pets of my own (and still a little too heartbroken to get one), so I'd love the opportunity to be an "auntie" for your dog when you need a sitter! My house is currently pet free, so if your pup needs (or just likes) special care, I am able to give them my attention without the stress of meeting other animals. I grew up on a farm with all sorts of animals - and ALWAYS dogs. Over the years I've had a lot of useful experience - puppies, elderly dogs, reactivity, shyness, giving medications (easy & hard kinds), body language, escape artists, anxiety, treating small boo-boos, and knowing when its time to go to the vet. I've also had a doodle, so I am a PRO at brushing (and actually really enjoy it) ;) I'm happy to answer any questions, and open to discussing your pet's specific needs to make sure I am a good fit for their care while you're away. I'd love to take care of your fur-baby!

Leah was absolutely incredible, and I couldn't have asked for a better first boarding experience for my puppy, Luna. As a first-time puppy parent being away for several days, I was naturally a little nervous, but Leah went above and beyond to make sure Luna felt comfortable, safe, and happy every step of the way. Leah was incredibly caring, thoughtful, and attentive to Luna's needs. Not only did she take her on neighborhood walks, but she also arranged fun outings where Luna got to socialize with other people and dogs, which she absolutely loved. Leah sent multiple updates and photos every day, so I always knew how Luna was doing, and her communication was consistently prompt and reassuring. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing Luna was in such wonderful hands. I would book with Leah again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will truly care for their pet like their own.

Leah was amazing with my 8 month old golden retriever puppy. Leah brought her all around the city to experience new things and when she got too anxious, was able to give my puppy her medication. Leah gave thoughtful updates throughout the day and spoiled my puppy!

Schedule
I usually work in an office, but am not required to... I just like seeing other humans ;) I can work from home full-time, any time, so if your pet needs a full service emotional support human, I can offer that.

Safety, trust & environment
My place is pet friendly and dog proofed. If you have a puppy, I might need to puppy-proof a bit further, but am happy to. I don't have a huge place (this is Boston), but I like walks, and live across the street from a pocket park and very close to the common.
A typical day
In my book, a dog is an excuse to take a walk. I like to walk anyway, but having a dog around just makes it so easy to put on the shoes and get out there. I live across from a pocket-park, so we can hit that for potty breaks, but for exercise lets walk up Beacon Hill and over to the common. Get in some good sniffs along the way. Or lets walk along the Esplanade and see if we can scare up some geese!
