Dog Auntie in Tofino
Hello, I'm Leah and I've been fortunate to live for 20 years on Tla-o-qui-aht territory. I got to share over 14 of those beautiful years with my faithful companion, Daisy. We lost our beloved girl to old age early this year. So, we are for the time being a family with no dog. I'm offering dog care and walking to locals and visitors to Tofino. We live in a house with a big yard, near the field and trails in town. We have a memory foam dog bed with a washable cover and we can accommodate one dog at a time for overnight stays at our house.

So happy to have found Leah to watch Trout during my weekend in Tofino. The drop off and pick up was so convenient, and she was so kind and welcoming that I was put immediately at ease with leaving him with her. Leah sent photos of his stay with her, which was awesome!
Leah took amazing care of our dog Juno and found opportunities for walks and playtime with a neighbor’s dog as well. Juno was happy and tired after day with Leah’s family!
Leah and her family were lovely with Mullberry! Convenient and responsive for our trip to Tofino!
Leah was incredibly friendly, took great care of Asha, went on a long walk with her, and kept me updated with pics.
Leah took great care of Ellie, she was a very well looked after and loved pup.

I will keep your pet on a leash while we get to know each other. I will discuss the amount and types of treats you're OK with. I'm happy to listen to your unique circumstances and customize care.
A typical day
As soon as your pup arrives at day care we will head out on a walk in the neighbourhood. This helps your dog and I to get to know each other, and calms any nerves about the transition. Then I'll show them around my house and garden. Every doggy daycare day includes a trip to the beach! I will send you photo updates of our adventures.
