Dog Auntie in Tofino
Hello, I'm Leah and I've been fortunate to live for 20 years on Tla-o-qui-aht territory. I got to share over 14 of those beautiful years with my faithful companion, Daisy. We lost our beloved girl to old age early this year. So, we are for the time being a family with no dog. I'm offering dog care and walking to locals and visitors to Tofino. We live in a house with a big yard, near the field and trails in town. We have a memory foam dog bed with a washable cover and we can accommodate one dog at a time for overnight stays at our house.

Koda had so much fun with Leah and her family, she's the best kind of doggie exhuasted! It's our first time using Rover and we were really happy with her care.
Leah and her daughters took amazing care of my Golden, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! They treated him like part of their family and even took him on an adventure to the ocean, which he absolutely loved. I really appreciated all the photos and the detailed Rover card as well. I would absolutely recommend Leah to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter in Tofino.
Leah was great. Our dog Winnie spent the day with her while we went on a boat trip. Winnie came home tired and happy. Thanks again Leah!
Leah was so sweet and generous with Maddie. She took Maddie to the beach for a long walk and was very caring toward her.
Leah and fam were fantastic! She kept our doggo Cai company for a day while we had family matters. I always know Cai had a good time when he's reluctant to leave the sitter's place. Leah was friendly, great with Cai, adapted to our schedule, and had excellent communication!
Leah took great care of Gizmo. Ideally situated in Tofino, it was easy to drop him off while we headed out on a boat tour. He had a great time doing some of the walks and beaches nearby!

I will keep your pet on a leash while we get to know each other. I will discuss the amount and types of treats you're OK with. I'm happy to listen to your unique circumstances and customize care.
A typical day
As soon as your pup arrives at day care we will head out on a walk in the neighbourhood. This helps your dog and I to get to know each other, and calms any nerves about the transition. Then I'll show them around my house and garden. Every doggy daycare day includes a trip to the beach! I will send you photo updates of our adventures.
