Coming to your home allows your pets to stay in their comfort zone, no unnecessary anxiety from traveling or boarding. Daily visits and walks are sometimes enough, but am more than happy to stay overnight with your fur babies. Although I like to be introduced to them in person with you to keep them most comfortable. I tend to go about the house as if I were supposed to be there and the dogs pay me no mind, even if they are generally skiddish of people. I have housekeeping experience, and offer that as well. Ask!

A typical day
When it comes to housesitting, I try to keep their day in the life as typical as possible. For breakfast/dinner I always follow their routine so long as I know it. Then to the outside whichever way is appropriate for them! While out, depending on if they’re free to roam or on leash, we may play or just walk until they seem tired. Then back in with a treat to relax. I try to keep their schedule as normal as possible! In the evenings we will wind down with a movie before bed.

Pet care experience
Growing up on a homestead, I’ve got experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. From Equine to Bovine, birds, fish, or reptiles; if you’ve got it, I’ve probably cared for it or had one of my own at some point. I’ve been pet and housesitting since I was 11 years old, and I get great enjoyment out of it. Check out “Peace of Mind with Leah” on Facebook. I am experienced in basic puppy obedience training, and grew up around most every kind of dog.
