Loving dogs makes me so happy!
I have had dogs almost my whole life, and making them feel loved and comfortable is about the greatest thing a person can do. My partner Shawn and I have a house with a large grassy back yard that our 2 beautiful 35lb girls love to play in. Shawn works from home fully and lets the dogs out to play and potty multiple times a day, and Leah is only out of the house 3 days of the week. Our dogs are crate trained but also roam freely, so we can accommodate your pets preferences. We have had a couple dogs with medical needs so we have experience administering pills if needed. Lately kennel prices have gotten so expensive, I want to give more families an affordable option that gives that one on one treatment and attention that our dogs really crave. We hope we can meet your furry friends and have a great time, while you are away stress free!

Leah and Shawn were fantastic sitters for my Pitsky, Finnegan! I was traveling from out of state (looking to move to Baltimore) and felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. They are both very laid-back, knowledgeable people who clearly understand dogs and dog behavior. Finnegan is a higher energy dog, and they were more than capable of handling the things that come along with that. I appreciated receiving updates and a few photos while I was away, which gave me peace of mind he was doing well. When I picked Finnegan up, he seemed very happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I can tell Leah and Shawn have a love for dogs that extends beyond their two very sweet resident pups, Olive and Zoe, who were such gracious hosts to have my little monster as a guest for an extended weekend stay. I would absolutely book with Leah and Shawn again and we fully intend to use them for future stays. Highly recommend!

Leah and Shawn have taken care of my large Golden Retriever two different times while we were visiting family in Baltimore. They were flexible, caring, attentive and provided excellent doggie day care over long days. This was our first experience with Rover. We highly recommend Leah and Shawn. They have a large fenced in backyard, two lovely dogs of their own and many comfy dog beds inside for your pooch to lounge on.
Leah & Shawn are fantastic people! My daughter and I left our pup with them for 7 nights while we were on a road trip. They took wonderful care of our girl and sent frequent pictures and updates. It was obvious that they take great pride in caring for other people’s fur babies. Their two dogs, Zoë & Olive, couldn’t be sweeter or more friendly. Any time in the future that we need someone to watch our pup, Leah & Shawn will be the first sitters we contact!

Schedule
Shawn works from home every day, so someone is available all the time. I go into the office three days a week, so most days there are two people home to give the dogs extra attention. We can be flexible about drop off and pickup times, Shawn is a night owl and I am a morning bird.

Safety, trust & environment
We love spoiling our dogs, so they are allowed on furniture but also crate trained and love their beds. We have dog beds all around the house so your pup can choose their favorite spot during their stay. They are able to run free in the large fenced back yard multiple times a day and can get lots of attention. There is also a dog park up the street to walk to if your dog wants to climb on some agility obstacles. We are flexible to adapting anything to your dogs needs and will send updates along the way.

Our dogs love to cuddle, look out the front window, run around and wrestle in the back yard, do commands for treats, play in the dog park up the street, snack on lick mats, and tug on toys.
