I have worked in many animal care and veterinary settings, especially with rescue animals, so there’s probably nothing you can throw at me that I haven’t seen before, but the more information you give me, the happier and low-stress I can keep your furry friend while you’re away.
A typical day
Walks, hikes, shopping excursions, lunch outings, park excursions, or anything you typically do. I have spots that I take my own dog and I love adding yours into our routine if that’s fitting for them. I really like to tailor the experience to what works for your pet.

I’m happy to visit clients in their own homes. When caring for your pet, I prefer to keep them to their typical routine (as it allows) to keep them low stress and comfortable while their family is away. I would love a walkthrough of what that looks like for you. I’m comfortable and trained for special diets, injections, medications, and other needs. I’m also happy to work with exotics.

Leah was WONDERFUL with my cat and dog. She sat them in my home, and my pets were instantly comfortable with her. Leah has great knowledge of animal behaviors and was able to handle my reactive pup and pill-needing cat with ease. Her communication was great, and she left my apartment in great shape. I will absolutely call her the next time I need pet care, and recommend her to anyone.
Leah is super responsive and easy to work with. She was great with our dog and even made recommendations due to the heat. We will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone in the Lincoln Park area.
