Highlights
Pet care experience
Caring for pets brings fulfillment.
I have previously taken care of pets for close family friends when I was in undergrad and I miss it dearly. Getting to know your pet(s) and the type of routines and care they need is something I respect and take seriously. Bringing comfort and joy to pets is a fulfilling and worthwhile occupation I enjoy. (It’s also a great way for me to destress as a graduate student!)
Cat care experience

Leah also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Like humans, every pet has his/her own specific needs and requirements when it comes to needing top-quality care. My goal as a pet sitter is to get to know both the family and the pet, through building positive relationships and learning about each pet’s specific needs and routines. I strive to bring comfort and joy to each pet I encounter while their humans are away.
Ratings and reviews
Leah went above and beyond to make sure our pup had a great weekend and kept us updated for peace of mind

So, so pleased with Leah! She is sweet and conscientious. And it's so obvious she loves animals. She took such great care of my kids! ❤️

Leah took great care of our dog on her, four night stay. She communicated well, sent lots of pictures and even took our trash bins up to the house and mail inside. We will definitely be using her again.

Leah is a fabulous dog sitter!! I was hesitant at first to have anyone watch one of my dogs, since my dog was a rescue and was fearful of people and barked at everyone! Leah is the one exception. She has a calming influence and compassion for these animals - my dogs love her! She is also very responsible and committed. I was impressed when she learned how to administer the weekly shot that one of my dogs requires. She did it without hesitation - others have not been as willing. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student at Western Michigan University studying occupational therapy. I am open and willing to accept bookings for house sitting on the weekends. Should anything change or come up, I am happy to communicate with you on those changes. Please try your best to reach out with booking requests at least one week in advance. A heads up this early allows me to double check my schedule and fit in your booking more efficiently. When in doubt, please refer to my Rover calendar.

- Although I may not have experience with certain things (e.g., performing CPR on a dog or cat), I am willing to learn how to do the things I don’t know so that I can take the best care of your pet(s) while you’re away. Please do not hesitate to inform me about any potential allergies, medications, special dietary needs, or routines your pets may have.
